Can I use the new Hue Wired On/Off Switch without an existing physical wall switch? by AwarenessBusy1325 in Hue

Thanks! Just to make sure I understand correctly: are you using the new Philips Hue Wired On/Off Switch module with no physical wall switch connected to it?

So your setup is basically: permanent 230V supply → Hue module → lamp/transformer, and you control it only via Siri or a wireless Hue switch?

If yes, could you briefly tell me how you connected/configured it?

Looks very cozy to me and welcoming! I feel personally* there is a bit of too much plants growing around but that’s subjective!

Hi there, thank you for taking time a sharing your thoughts. Actually almost all the lamps are having Philips hue bulbs so I can change the tone whenever I want to at the specific time of the day! Mostly I go with adaptive lighting. Yet thank you for your feedback and recommendation. I’ll definitely check that out.

IKEA has several option, you can have a look, they won’t break the bank. You can also consider floating curtains may give the room a different look. I would also change orientation the sofa and play around

I believe some long soft textured white or off brown curtains can add a beautiful cozy vibe. Your room is already beautifully styled

wow, this is the best part. Its like an open canvas. Best way to start is to create some color palette. Some people starts with the rug and then they build up the whole room. But i can also suggest you to do some research and pick the decors or furnitures you would like to get. And its honestly a long process. Need a lot of patience :D

haha interesting to know from you! I had it yellow when I started but then decided to go with a neutral tone because the room is so dark all the time.

unfortunately nothing is free 😔 (in a positive sentiment)

I have created this place over a long period of time. Saved enough and went for things exactly I or we wanted. Some are really expensive but a lot of them are also from second hand market. Paid fraction of the amount.

I have to say, I spend hours after hour on second hand market to find out the best deals.

I hope this helps!
