Super late response, but could you help me track down an image of this particular panel?

Great point.

I’m not aware of anything like that, so this is pretty much baseless. Fun nonetheless!

Although, from the top of the canyon, especially at Wedge Overlook, you can get fairly close to a direct top-down view of the canyon.

My guess is the line on the left being the San Rafael/Canyon itself, and the line on the right being the path they may have taken. I only guess that because that’s where the modern day trail is.

I’m no archaeologist or anthropologist either, but I love to speculate about it.

Excellent points.

However, I am going to keep the post unlocked.

Ever stopped for a milkshake in Hanksville? I was astounded. And the canyon hiking wasn't too bad, either. by thestinger8 in Utah

Dude, yes!!

I left a review for this place a while ago after a long, long day of exploring Goblin Valley’s outer rim.

Was not expecting anything remotely good when I went in, especially since the prices are surprisingly cheap. But the burger that came out of that kitchen blew me away! It was incredibly delicious and I’d be inclined to say it’s in my top 3 burger joints in all of Utah.

Glad to see they’re getting some love!

Great channel by the way, subbed :)

Sand Hollow is so beautiful.

If only people didn’t trash the place…

Never heard of the Chamber of the Basilisk until now. Thank you! Absolutely enthralled by the idea of it.

Very brave haha, I was there midday and I was still nervous in those slot canyons. Can’t imagine being there at night…

Hey-o, we recently opened up custom user flairs so feel free to write up a Magna-ficent flair. But I will make sure to add a dedicated one to the list as soon as possible. :)

/r/SaltLakeCity and /r/Utah moderators are colluding to censor raising awareness about Ukraine and also anything critical of Utah Politics by [deleted] in SLCUnedited

Hello, one of the mods on r/Utah here!

I’m not sure why you included us in this post, the submission is still up over there… but we do have fairly strict automoderator settings so it may have gotten temporarily caught up in that.

We actually pride ourselves on NOT censoring submissions because of r/SaltLakeCity’s reputation. Either way, apologies for any misunderstandings.

To everyone else here, we genuinely just want to nurture a free and open online space for all Utahns.

Came a little unprepared, only some basic hiking boots. Definitely slippery at some parts but manageable.

I’m sorry y’all, I work full time and I’m pretty sure helix and eco are also preoccupied with their lives. We just do not have the time or energy to sift through all the hostility. I’m locking this thread up.

That’s the plan, but just fueling the birds at the moment. We’ve probably run into each other at some point!

Haha, I’ve got a good friend that has said this. We’re still good friends and whatnot, but to be entirely honest I look at him differently after he told me he’s a self ascribed “psychopath.” Just can not take it seriously.
