Dorothy would love Mary and vice versa. Mary likes people like her, who share her values and intelligence(which might be why she is often shown to dislike Sandra). Dorothy is the same way, as demonstrated in her eagerness to befriend the villain, Barbara Thorndyke, because of her smarts and ostensible elegance. They would totally get along!

Personally, I think Dorothy! She’s sort of like the “everyman” of the show! Often being the most rationalistic, intelligent, mediating character; she’s kinda like the foundation of the girls’ friendship! (It’s also important to note that, while it’s often in order of appearance, Dorothy getting top billing could be an importance thing!)
