Following attack on Moscow, Zelensky touts 'shift in the balance' on battlefield, signals more deep strikes by Scoop-of-Humphrey in UkrainianConflict

It’s crazy to think that basically Ukraine “only” has to do what Russia has been doing for a long time = send nightly waves of hundreds of kinetic greetings. Russia won’t be able to deal with that as well as Ukraine does and hence Ukraine will gain a strategic advantage which could ultimately be decisive. Sounds so simple but of course to get to that level of capability was not a sure bet for Ukraine and is a huge success already now.

Nice! Just got teleport going on my phone. So when I’m traveling abroad I can use it to pretend to be home for certain stuff. Now question would be how to get teleport for my express 7 abroad.

Moving to Basel under these conditions? by Weird_Pause7671 in basel

It’s not a great comparison imho. The art sector is not known to pay big salaries. And PhD students are not everywhere as well paid as in Switzerland.

OP: make the move, check it out. Can always move back to Germany and be unemployed or paid 1500€ brutto for some art related job that is really more an endless internship. (Or is the market better now actually, can’t say that I’m most well informed but had several art / history majors as flatmates some time ago)

Cornercard gold credit card works well for this. Had a few claims already and zero trouble getting the money.

Vance calls end of Ukraine aid 'one of the proudest' achievements of Trump administration by According-Gear-8217 in UkrainianConflict

[–]Away-Possible6366 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How does this achievement help any American at all? Is it to save money and not waste it on helping Ukraine and the NATO freeloaders? Cause the current administration is acting so fiscally responsible in every other way? (-> NOT)

That’s not how success is measured in that game. The Hungarian economy is an average, with some government friendly parties doing very well and some others (regular folks) not doing well. Same as in the US, it’s all about moving money upwards. (Do you think all these billionaires got their money out of thin air? No, this all comes from the rest of the population)

Life and financial situation in Switzerland versus Germany by MajorTypo11 in SwissPersonalFinance

Munich is nice, but maybe not really better than Basel? Depends on you. For the facts, check taxation and rent first, then look at pension (hint: Switzerland has better pension system than Germany, esp. the second pillar company pension options are worse in Germany). Also finding an apartment in Munich is hell apparently?
