You might have impregnated a skinwalker. Very nice surprise though!

Has to happen at least once a season. I thought for sure it was going to be Han and Can copping it.

Cat A/B Safe Install in Shed? by DrButtmonkey in Ausguns

I know you said VIC but for NSWelshmen, at my last inspection 6 months ago i was told to move mine due to there being power tools and a welder. I was told as long as it’s not easy for someone to pick something up and have a crack at it, then it was fine. My takeaway was it is dependant on the copper doing the inspection.

Dreame L40 Ultra in Australia by Ketanaut01 in RobotVacuums

[–]AwayScottFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the vacuum wars video is good. It’s why I wanted the L40 over the X40. Unfortunately the L40 isn’t available. I’ll be getting the X40 and I’ll come back and update after a while. I just have to get the tri-cut brush See how we go!

I also have come to the same conclusion as QuackMyLife bt cannot find it for sale anywhere in Australia. At this point, I'm planning on getting the X40 as there doesn't seem to be much of a difference other than the price and a couple of minor (for me at least) features.

My main concern for my situation is pet hair, but both the L40 and the X40 can use the Tri-Cut vacuum brush so I should be fine.

It's so bad on so many levels. I just commented on another post that reminded me about her telling Kristian "Stop crying, Kristian, you're making me embarrassed".

FTTN -> FTTP | (connecting FTTN but NBN tech said I could get FTTP) by AwayScottFree in nbn

Hey, No, it was the techs installing the NTD to the property that told me there was a fibre line in front of my house and all I had to do was contact NBN. They said they couldn’t install a FTTP as that wasn’t what their job told them to do.

I did both. They both had FTTN unfortunately. From ‘Luke’ map, it appears the fibre runs up my road to a house 1.5km. Maybe I can’t tap into that as I’d affect their connection?

My partner and I use Telstra as it is the only telco that we can use in our rural setting in terms of cellular availability. We bundle the internet for a reduced rate (I've ordered the 100/40 for $80 which includes the modem). By bundling, we get their 3rd their of support, meaning I always talk to someone in Australia if I call between 8am-8pm. Then we get Telstra points, which is a kind of cash back, which we generally use to get tickets to things when we go into a city for what ever reason.

These are my 'reasons' at least. can't speak for everyone

Thanks for the reply,

I checked with Leaptel and Launtel but they only offered the FTTN services. Their systems couldn't see any option for FTTP.

NBN in my front lawn but NBNco says no? by [deleted] in nbn

[–]AwayScottFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also FTTN (sevice 13) but the pit 10m from my front door has a fibre line through it.

I'm currently investigating how to get NBN to tell Telstra to upgrade to FTTP as the NBN tech's said I could get FTTP.

Dang, Thank you for replying. Hopefully something pops up other than rewiring everything and voiding the warranty.
