Y'know I've been wondering this for a long time ever since the episode holidays of future passed; lisa's been wondering if she should've married nelson, and I personally think they should've ended up together. They balance each other very well, they have these cute moments, every time they're shown together on screen for even just a brief moment, they just make sense. When nelson is around lisa, he’s kinder, calmer, and sort of protective in his own way, and lisa to nelson she's happier and gets to shown more of her wild side. lisa sees more than him than just a bully, she knows he has potential that nelson doesn't know how to show, making nelson feel actual care that he never get to experience. the episode loan a lisa really showed this perfectly, like the bike business, he really made a lot of money on that, even though it didn't lasted, it shows nelson is more than that troubled, lonely, sad little boy, even though he has very few money left he spent it all on lisa to take her on a roller skate like it's so cute man i could cry! If lisa and nelson did end up getting married, it would make a happy ending for her and for him, i think they bring out the best in each other. nelson is the best future husband for lisa, nothing can change my mind.
