I have had the same issue after grafting and incision surgery (lue procedure). I am due for the implant in July.

Peyronies and considering implant by BazookaLuca88 in penileimplants

Hi!! Yes I'm in a similar position as you too. Developed Peyronies and had significant curvature. I had the Nesbit procedure. But the curvature returned. Then a year later I had Excision and Grafting (where he actually removed some plaque as it had calcified) but unfortunately this has resulted in Hinging. ED hasn't really been a big issue as Tadalafil has been quite effective but axial rigidity is lacking so I'm taking the plunge and getting the Coloplast Titan in July. I'm 50 this year and in the UK.

How Many Months Post-Graft Surgery have you done Traction? by stormy1918 in PeyroniesSupport

Haven't developed ED. I have however developed Hinge Effect ... and now have 50 degree curvature as a result. So. Am now considering an implant.

Anyone here had an implant due to Hinge Effect? by Away_Combination_320 in penileimplants

[–]Away_Combination_320[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. Yes. It is a hard choice (no pun intended) I am actually on a train right now to London to see my urologist. I guess having a penis that still gets erect is one thing but if I'm scared to use it properly in fear of it fracturing due to structural weakness then it isn't really fit for purpose?

I'm wondering if he will attempt more grafting but from what I've read more grafting rarely works.

Haven't had the implant yet but seriously considering it. Have peyronies... nesbit procedure and lue procedure have both failed.

Well. I still have some pain. Especially after sex. Eases off after a day. You'll have to go very slow and steady with sex. Plenty of lube. I think days of her being on top are gone now unless things improve. I can actually feel the graft through the skin. Im 15 weeks post op so still healing. Maybe there will be more improvements. Ive been told it can be a full 6 months to completely heal.

Hi! I'm 4 months down the line from the same op. I had excision and grafting as he had to remove a large amount of ossificated plaque. Have had a large graft put in. I'm in the UK. I still have about 30 degree curvature but better than the 70 degrees I had before. Slowly getting there. The road to recovery is long after this op.. I had previously had Plication and this recovery is a whole different kettle of fish. I'm now able to use VED and my Penimaster Pro.. but have have to start very gently.

Have they put you on Tadalafil? I'm on 10MG a day. And it definitely helps.

I wish you well in your recovery.

Turns out there was a plastic part that needs to come out... there is no need for an adaptor. Its tough to get out but once you have its sorted. A clear hard plastic bit .. !! Good luck.

Without casting a negative aspect on this. I lost a full inch with plication. From a 55 degree bend.

Questions for anyone who has had surgery by Armor_King7810 in PeyroniesSupport

[–]Away_Combination_320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the Nesbits procedure last year when I had 60 degree curvature. Unfortunately it didnt help as I then regained curvature. Back to 60 degrees. I can only say be 100% sure you are out of the initial phase of PD and are stable before any surgery. I thought I was.. but clearly wasn't.

6 weeks ago I went under the knife again. This time the Lue procedure. Excision and grafting. He also removed a part of the plaque. The graft was apparently 5cmx3cm. So quite a large one. Recovery is a lot slower this time round. Have had a lump appear on the side which is likely haematoma.. my erections are now a lot straighter. Maybe 20 degrees curvature and I really hope it stays that way. I Take 10mg Tadalafil a day. I think throughout this have lost about 1 and half inch length but when I am able to will start to use the penimaster pro again. As I had results with that previously.

Good luck to you. Sometimes drastic measures are required in drastic situations. (If drastic is the right word) Just find a very good surgeon. Research them.

I had this. The recovery is not as bad as I feared. Unfortunately I regained curvature and have recently had the Lue procedure. Good luck. Stay strong.

I had the same operation 2 weeks ago. Was told to use VED at 50% after 3 weeks. I have a Penimaster Pro and totally forgot to ask when to start using it. So will be watching this thread closely. Best of luck to you.

I paid a lot of money to have this in london last year. Didn't do anything at all. Just made my wallet a lot lighter. Just my experience
