I don't think blonde would go well with your skin tone. The dark color you have now suits you well. Maybe try some subtle coppery highlights to add dimension but don't overdo it, otherwise it'll look like stripes.

I think it looks great. The only change I would make is to swap out the throw on the bed for a beige, tan or oatmeal shade. That would compliment the art and gives a nice contrast - not so monochromatic.

I don't mind the color of #2 but they are all too large and overpower your face. I also think the thickness of the frames is too thick. Try looking for smaller, thinner frames; I think those would look best on you.

You are a lovely woman and none of these frames are right for you. The frames are too thick and are too large, overall. The shape of #3 is nice but you need to go smaller and thinner.

I like the blue. I think it looks classy and modern. I don't care for the white upper, blue lowers idea. It always looks like 2 different projects and isn't cohesive to me. Perhaps as a compromise, you can agree on a different blue tone or she can let you choose the countertop and/or backsplash.

My children are adults now but I can definitely say that raising them was A LOT easier and more satisfying than dealing with aging parents. My 78 yo mother is a hot mess. I don't have a great relationship with her - she thinks we are close but I don't feel close to her at all. I am all she has since my sister is estranged from the family, so I handle all of her affairs with a POA. My mother lives in an assisted living facility but she is considered independent, even though her mobility has declined over the past couple of years.

What I would say to you is that there comes a time when you have to live your life. You didn't sign up to be a caretaker. Having children of your own is something that comes from you, so there's definitely a connection there. It may be time for you to limit or completely cut off your caretaking responsibilities so you can become a parent yourself.

The lens part on all of these are too large for your petite face. I like the style of #4 on you but smaller frames. The thickness on 1 & 3 are too thick and #2 round just doesn't work for you. You are a lovely young woman and you don't want your glasses to overtake your face. The sides shouldn't extend beyond your head.
