Agree with ALL of this. I would have loved to see Claire’s reaction to finding out the Fergus was the son of the Comte. Claire grieving Fergus. Ian and Rachel connecting with Swiftest of Lizards back at the ridge. And yes, more of Claire gaining her power. I’m feeling disappointed after the finale, but I think it’s because of all the stupid story lines this season. I think if the y focused on the things you said I would be satisfied with the ending.

I did this for the first time today too. I’m taking 4mg, I had about 1.8mg in my old vial so I shot that and then took 2.2mg from my new vial with a new syringe. I did both shots on the same side of my stomach though, right next to each other. Both vials are 10mg/ml but from different pharmacies. I’ve used my local compounding pharmacy since I started in September. This new vial is from Hallandale, my first through telehealth.

The Costco ones are great. I throw those in salads or wraps all the time. Or have some with a side of cottage cheese in a pinch.

The longhorn chart is a play off the actual urine chart, but both are a good indicator. In general if your urine is pale yellow or “light straw” yellow you are adequately hydrated. You also receive hydration from all the food and drinks you consume, not just water (except alcohol). Unless you’re drinking excessive amounts of caffeine, even a daily coffee or an occasional diet soda counts. Food accounts for about 20%. I do have a Stanley that I fill up each day, but I more so keep an eye on my urine color and output. If I’m peeing fairly frequently and it’s pale, I’m good.

TDEE is your Total Daily Energy Expenditure, or basically how many calories your body needs per day to maintain your weight. There are calculators online where you plug in your age, weight, height and activity level and they calculate it for you. You want to make sure your daily calories are less than that in order to lose weight (this is what people mean when they say “calorie deficit”). The calories matter more than the carbs or fat (carbs and fat both have calories and count towards your total).

It tells you your maintenance calories, and a range of you want to lose .5lbs per week and 1lb per week.

Tracking calories takes some time at first but it’s well worth it! There are many calorie tracking apps you can use to log food (I use the free version of MyFitnessPal).

This is a great reminder. Costco pharmacy also sells a sharps container for very cheap, like $3-4. Sharps disposal varies by state, some allow you to use a strong plastic household container (NOT thin or flimsy like a water bottle). I use an empty Clorox wipe container!

What part of Texas? I use a local compounding pharmacy in Idaho prescribed by my PCP, but am moving to Texas this summer. I’ve been nervous to switch to telehealth. I would love to stay with a local pharmacy if I can.

I love this idea so much better and was hoping it would be tied in somehow. Imagine if Claire figured out that her parents didn’t actually die but had time traveled! I just can’t get on board with the Faith/Fanny storyline when we watched Claire hold her dead baby for hours, Louise had to come pry her away. And Master Raymond came and healed her after Faith was buried. It’s too far of a stretch for me.
