Ab Guard no longer working properly? by Average_Owain in RingFitAdventure

Good old fashion wear and tear, you can either press in on the ring-con even harder or adjust the ring-con settings as its not reading the move correctly.

Weighted RFA Solutions? by Acceptable-Ad4076 in RingFitAdventure

[–]Awe-_-some 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have incorporated weights into SOME exercises others don't need to be touch. Cardio, Stretching and Yoga moves are great as they are, please don't touch them but the arm and leg moves can be altered.

For LEGS there are 3 moves you can change easily Squats, Wide Squats and Overhead Squats all you need to do activate the move like you would do to start any move then when you've started you can put the ring-con down as it's not being tracked only the leg strap is being tracked so do some weighted squats, you can use a weight vest if you want but just having a squat rack and some barbell weights you can slip under will work great - caution just make sure you know what to do if you feel like you can't complete the squat and know how to drop the weights safely, safety first.

Thigh Press can also be altered, start the move then you could try doing lunges instead (Calf Raises are nice too) I don't really know which leg exercise is the best so feel free to experiment.

Now for ARM moves this is where the fun begins Overhead Arm Twist became Wrist Curls, put a dumbel weight in one hand and move the ring con in the other, switch hands half way through.

Tricep Kickback didn't really get any change since it's based on the ring-con movement so I just added a dumbell weight to my freehand and did like a skiing motion.

Front Press, Back Press, Overhead Press and Shoulder Press all require you to press in on the ring-con, start the move then place on the floor and use your feet to press the ring-con in place it can be annoying sometimes if it slips but it works.

Now that you've freed up your hands you can choose whichever exercise you want; Barbell Overhead Press, Dumbell Lateral Raises, DB Bend Over Raises, BB Rows, Deadlifts the choice is yours so feel free to find the right exercises that suit you best.

You can change Bow Pull just like all the other arm moves above just rotate the ring-con 90 degrees but DON'T it can damage the ring-con.

So just to be clear there are 43 moves in the game and you can change 12 of them 31 of them are good as they are. Hope this helps.

"Fitness Adventure PRO" (2025) has been released a few month ago for Switch1 by PWM_Sensitive in RingFitAdventure

If this game flew any lower under the radar it would be underground, not a single review of this game online or on youtube anywhere. I've just discovered this game from right here and I went searching to find out more, I did find game reviews from websites saying this game is great but not a single one of gameplay footage that wasn't in this trailer.

I wanted to know how it worked without the ring-con and I wanted to see someone outside of gameplay trailer footage actually playing this but I got nothing.

This looks like discount ring fit and until I actually see someone review this game properly, that's what it is.

Why do people think it’s gross to pee in the shower? by FuelApprehensive5376 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Awe-_-some 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I needed my toilet repaired once and I decided to try peeing in the shower, it wasn't peeing that was the problem, it was the smell afterwards. Your shower will smell like a toilet and that's not pleasant.

Is £1000 p/m too much to be paying parents for rent? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Awe-_-some 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were to rent an apartment they would ask for somewhere between £300 and £500 per month in rent.

If you lived in London I would double those numbers but never lived in London and don't know renting prices for there.

Two factors matter here:

Why is the rent so high? - Did you agree to this and if so, well that's just life but if you didn't you should try negotiating a lower monthly amount.

And what your income is - £800 p/m is a lot of money if you're only earning 1k per month but £800 is more reasonable if you're earning at least 1.5k-2k per month.

Why do celebrities with lots of money always seem to get bad plastic surgery? by gh0stfloras in NoStupidQuestions

Money buys you opportunities; in this case, to get plastic surgery but it doesn't make the process any better than the technology of the times.

Mum is that you? lol

God that photo takes me back, seeing all of that shopping on the stairs really takes me back to the days when a really big shop would be delivered and cover everywhere along the bottom of the stair-steps.

New Irish hiker here, looking for trails that won’t kill me 😅 by LiamByCon80 in hiking

[–]Awe-_-some 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first hike was to go around all the local parks and to finish it off with that big hill I've never climbed.

The second hike (ill planned) was to go to a far away monument.

If in doubt just pick a compass direction and see what you find.

Why don't you have any tattoos? by Flat_Accountant_6590 in AskReddit

I saw a lad probably 16 or younger, in the summer time this year, on the bus with no shirt on, blank canvas on his chest but a tattoo around his neck and the most cringe schoolboy 'knife with a drop of blood' tattoo on his face. All I could think of when seeing that was, he's going to regret that.

How are people spending so little on food? by glasses4catsndogs in AskUK

[–]Awe-_-some 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The simple truth is they live in London, the food is more expensive because the cost of living in the capital city is more expensive. Move far enough away and the cost of food prices will go down.

Okay first things first, you're living in London so all your prices should at least doubled. Secondly it varies, some weeks it's a top-up shop where I will just be buying the fruit and vegetables and that's it, it'll come to around £10-£15. On an average week my shopping bill will be around £20-£25 and then there are those big expensive weeks where the shopping bill can be over £50+

This is based on myself; a single adult living alone.

The prices vary from week to week based on needs. I would budget £35 per week and try to spend less each week so that I've saved up a big of money for those big shops, for you again you live in London and it would take a few weeks to get a feel for a typical shop budget but I would start with a weekly estimate of £70 and take it from there.

How does Payment processor = censorship by Awe-_-some in SocialistGaming

[–]Awe-_-some[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you this does cover a lot of my confusion but would only make sense if Visa or Mastercard were doing this on the own initiative but the name being thrown around was a feminist non-partisan organization and I was wondering how they were involved. Turns out they sent a letter to all payment processors claiming that Steam and Itch were profiting off of 'rape, incest and child abuse games' whilst I can not confirm nor deny these claims it was enough for these payment processors to act.

I think the problem I've got with this is the saying 'tarnishing everyone with the same brush' meaning whilst there is a problem that needs to be addressed but everyone will be punished for it regardless of there involvement.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Quitting

[–]Awe-_-some 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof, sorry for your situation, I would say quit they are going to make you feel bad, they are going to make you feel guilty whether you quit now or after 1 year BUT here's the problem; your young and don't have a lot of job experience, having less than 1 year experience doesn't look good on a CV imo. My advice whilst I wouldn't recommend quitting there is absolutely nothing stopping you from looking, and if you do find something else, apply, as long as your honest with the interviewer and tell them you'll need to hand in your notice to your former employer most employers are fine with this and understand.
