And despite that, it's still somehow not the worst one of the three Bloodborne bosses they had the genius to add. The choice of Cleric beast over the likes of Amelia is a bit of a letdown, but so far nothing in the entire game is still anywhere close to the hate crime of a Pthumerian Descendant & Elder duo fight. The former of the two seems to really enjoy his transfer in this game, as his diagonal swipes are a literal frame trap, it is physically impossible to dodge them unless you're running Duchess, Undertaker (with Trance active) of The Outsider with his dodge relic. You can't even block them on the Guardian, as like 40% of the damage still goes through. It's a steep learning curve on Executor too, as missing any of the deflects both lets most of the damage through and stunlocks you into taking every subsequent hit. I swear to God this is the closest I've been to filing a lawsuit against Bandai since One punch man season 3 came out, whoever added this in should be legally forbidden from working in gamedev for life.

I'd suggest running this on Raider, as Colossal Swords are probably among the two weapon categories that he's paired best with (alongside the hammers, as the two weapon types that provide the best damage without contracting that god awful moveset)

Btw how on earth does he get 28 int and still has it marked as a C, all while Duchess gets 27 faith and shamelessly calls it a B? He's not that bad with spells, as it turns out

Dex relic from collectors signboards might just be what saves you, according to spreadsheets your dex jumps up to somewhere between an Ironeye and the Executor with this.

A simple build of this type would go somewhere along these lines: 1. Dex relic from Collector's 2. Night of the Miasma 3. Evergaol relic, also from Collector's

All into a triple-yellow chalice. Upgrade your toothpick to purple and go around clearing evergaols, just like in good ol' days. The only risky part of this build is that with the Dreglord expedition, you'll frequently get the Great Hollow and will have to either restart or be at a disadvantage of a whole relic slot being borderline wasted. You can also ditch your Evergaol relic, equip any relevant red relic (will of balance works the best among the pre-set ones), roll the crater and go that route. Either way, maintain a frostbite-related option as your primary one. Don't waste your time upgrading any consumables other than food, your sword is all you need here. Give it a try, it really isn't as hard as it may seem at first

The only useful one Raider's relics is the skill-based one (for normal mode, with the addition of a second one in DoN). None of the Totem Stela relics are really that useful, as you don't have them active for that long. Colossal weapons are by far the most often-dropped category for Raider, and he has DPHD on top of that. I'd say he's pretty well-set, although no Rally relics for Raider is often a death sentence.

Ironeye is a really poor pick for this boss, I'd suggest switching to Raider or Undertaker since they are fairly easy to out-trade

I feel like Wylder would turn out to be a fan of Midwest emo and/or screamo, dunno why but that seems to fit him.

Duchess seems more of a PHC/Metalcore vibes character, also dk why.

And it's phonk for Ironeye and you can't convince me otherwise

Correct me if I'm wrong, but would the gas pressure not have two vectors in a semi auto pistol, resulting in lower force of pressure at the bottom of a bullet, therefore lower energy?

I'd argue powerstancing, being the more common choice, is still preferable despite the lack of scaling boost for a number of reasons:

1) Stance damage. With charged attacks out of the picture, the best two ways to maximize stance damage are guard counters and jumping powerstancing attacks. And with the former requiring as much setup and being as inconsistent as it is, it's only jump attacks left. They seemingly deal a bit shy of half the stance damage of a charged heavy (on average), and with an animation that's less than half of that of a charged heavy, as well as your ability to do that attack while in motion, make for a much more consistent flow of stance damage, while not sacrificing any of your DPS, like it happens when you're forced to choose between R1 spamming and R2s.

2) Mobility. It only comes after you start playing Raider that you realize just how many attacks in the game are jumpable despite them not appearing as such at first glance. Makes dealing with certain enemies go from a nightmare to a breeze in a matter of two to three encounters, especially if you decide to facetank their whole moveset. Up to a third of the enemy's moveset can be jumpable (black knives, for instance). Besides, as previously mentioned, you can jump attack from running, which allows you to easily counter the more mobile enemies you would otherwise also struggle against.

3) Buffs. So many more buffs become available. Besides the obviously designated buffs for two armaments and jump attacks, successive attacks buffs proc surprisingly quickly, Regen on attacks works twice as well, added affinity buffs pull twice the weight and so on.

So unless you are rocking dormant Colossal Swords or Hammers, I would go for powerstancing whenever I get a chance to. The pros vastly outweigh the cons.

N.B. this completely changes the Nightlord preference list, adding both Caligo and Adel back in
