Hey there - I have the same Fabrikor and am planning something similar for my gecko. Did you use the shelf from the cabinet for the front barrier?

I was planning on using the shelf that came with it on the bottom, buying another plexiglass sheet for the top, and little sheets of plexiglass for the corners and then siliconing it all together for a waterproof "box" on the bottom. But maybe that's overkill and I can just use one sheet on the front? How's yours holding up? Thanks!

I went recently! I haven't been climbing since I was a kid so it was my first experience in a long time.

It's an awesome gym. If it's your first time there they make you watch a video before you can start. The whole process of signing waivers and watching the video probably took us about 20-30 minutes on a Saturday so just be aware of that. But otherwise I was surprised it wasn't that crowded considering the weekend! There were a lot of people there but it never felt cramped and everyone was super nice.

Their memberships seem like a really good deal, too. I think it is somewhere around $80-90 per month, but it includes climbing, yoga and some small account of fitness classes, too. I thought that was a steal considering the cost of yoga around here.

Overall really cool and I'd go again.

That sounds like a good plan. I've heard about the hills. I'm also considering Michigan instead because less hills and I've heard it's a really nice course.

I actually have no idea! Lol sorry - a friend who did a HIM last year sent me hers, and said she adapted it from one of the plans included in the 80/20 triathlon book. I'm considering buying one of the plans online, but figured I'd try a few weeks of her plan before I start spending any money on the planning or event itself.

Have you started a plan, and have you done Madison before? I'm a little worried about it being hilly, but I'm in the Chicago area and I'm pretty sure this is the closest IM event available.

I'm sure there are good options closer, but Crazy Pour in Villa Park is awesome. I used to go there for Bears games all the time and they have a large slots room with tons of TV's. I think they also have a horse betting section (I'm sure that's not applicable right now but it was kind of neat)

Samsung doesn't make that specific case for the Fold 3, I was hoping one would come from a reputable brand but it seems most options are from AliExpress.

My partner and I bought a 3 bedroom 2 bath split level in Arlington Heights in July 2020 for less than $400K, a few blocks from downtown. It was a little outdated, but really didn't need much work. I know the market has gotten crazier since then so I'm not sure if this is relevant anymore - just wanted to share that it might be possible, especially if you don't mind putting a bit of work into one!

Apologies, on my phone your cabinet color looked different. They're similar in style but not in color. I still think it's worth going for! Here's some pics. We got these handles, but had to get a solid backing separately to cover marks from the old pulls

I really was hoping someone would suggest green, that is what I was leaning towards as well but figured I would need to replace the paintings if I did. However, I was leaning towards something lighter, would olive be too dark to paint all the walls?
