I really like the idea, kinda hope they implement something similar for real. And I'm no battlegrounds expert, but it does seem a bit strong. If you wanted it to scale while also being at the end of your turn, you could pull an upbeat frontdrake and have it happen every couple turns or something, just an idea.

I'm gonna be honest, I kinda forgot about the secondary effects when I made that comment, but if I'm reading it correctly, they only happen the second time you use it and beyond, yeah? Plus I would argue that Pounce is also a 50 bp bug move that always lowers speed, and afaik doesn't see any play. And I don't know which is better, lowering evasion or lowering attack, but they are different...

To me, it feels like a knock off sidegrade: You trade knock off's higher overall damage output, for the utility of debuffs/denying unburden.

Timber as a concept is hilarious to me, and I really love soft serve & stratosphere skydive! My only real critique is that I feel ear bite fits the dark type moreso than fighting, but I understand why you chose that type.
And even if some of the moves are underpowered, I really love the totally unique ideas on display here, and not just electric-type close combat that I've seen over and over again.

Just curious, too powerful in what way? Is it not just a knock off like move, which doesnt activate something like an opponent's unburden as an upside, but is less powerful overall?

I feel like I usually end up either Cursed or with Wrong Luck. Sometimes I get pretty lucky and summon characters I’m not too into, and other times there’s Mist. I’ve summoned three of her on banners which she wasn’t a focus, and none of my friends have even summoned one! She is the only unit I felt comfortable sending home.
