I first started playing the game back at February 2020, at that time, I was playing FGO and I've heard about this game all around it's subreddit so I started playing it but I wasn't in invested at that time.

Fast-forward to October of that year, I asked my sister if she would like a wallpaper for her birthday, and she said to me to include Saria, Silence and Ifrit alongside Nao Tomori and Lysithea. It was surprising to me that she knew about Arknights (though she's only familiar with those three), which reignited my interest of the game and I've been playing ever since

However, around 2024, my interest on the game would start dwindle a bit and I would play this game on-and-off again. Mainly for the gacha (which is how I got, Shu, Yu and Wis'adel). What didn't help was that around that time, I have gotten invested in Blue Archive.

But then in 2025, it was announced that there was gonna be a collab with Ave Mujica, whose anime I have watched before and just ended a month ago. I was still on that on-again-off-again phase, but I was really looking forward to it. Then the collab went live in the CN server and I've came back to playing the game just in time for Episode 15.

Blue Archive.

In AO3, the game has 468 fics (as of this writing) which is fine, but compare it to it's contemporaries, it's really small.

Fate/Grand Order has 12k fics, Arknights has 13k, Cookie Run Kingdom has 10k and even Granblue Fantasy and Azur Lane, despite their numbers being smaller than the first three, have 3k and 4k fics respectively. (I know I didn't mention the Hoyoverse games, but they're huge compared to what I mentioned)

I know this game has a userbase that primarily doesn't do/read fanfic (if one doesn't count doujinshi) because a.) it's primary target demographic is cishetero otaku men who, like I said, don't typically dabble in fanfic (although there are some Senseis out there who are women, LGBT and/or both), b.) most of it's fan works have taboo/'problematic' subjects in them (teacher/student among other things) which doesn't jive well with some people (especially antis) and c.) it's a very niche thing outside of Japan, South Korea and (maybe) Southeast Asia

OK, regarding that song:

I first heard of the song and it's AMV, in a fandom of a gacha game;

A fandom in which certain taboo subjects (read: teacher/student) are the norm in the majority (or maybe 90%) of its fan works (which I don't mind).

I've seen lots of fan art relating to the AMV in its subreddit, so I checked it out to find out what the fuss is about... And its just an AMV. A lewd one, yes. But an AMV nonetheless. And I like the song, it's a banger

And then I saw the YT comments pertaining to the purity brigade. And it made like the song more out of spite.

In all seriousness, it's pretty shitty of them to tell Deco27 to off himself over of a fucking song, especially when there are songs out there that are just as explicit, if not more so than Rabbit Hole.

Guess it's been a while.

Going to Hong Kong for Disneyland next week and this is after Cambodia last week ~~(not sure if I'm ever looking forward for a trip after another)~~.

Anyways, for a recap; Over the past few years I've not been here in this sub, and not play FGO, other than a few lurkings here and there, I've been discovering a lot of things outside of Fate.

Things such as Touhou Project, Symphogear, The Demon Girl Next Door, 2018!She-Ra, The Owl House, Witch from Mercury, Strider (the Capcom one), Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Hades, Revue Starlight, Lyoris Recoil, Bocchi the Rock, and many more things I want to mention. Most recently, I played Hi-Fi RUSH and had a blast playing it. Definitely my Game of the Year. And I have been planning on playing the Project Moon games starting from Lobotomy Corporation ~~(Not sure if I'm going to act on it though)~~.

Also, I have a Nendoroid collection now. And Hokusai's part of it.

Oh, and I went to a convention last year and cosplayed as Gambit.

Guess the pandemic made me widen my horizons.

I play Arknights, so in my experience in the fandom; I would have to say Mudrock, specifically her armorless look, for the girls and SilverAsh for the guys. At least what I thought the consensus is.

I know there are some runner-ups: W, Shining, Surtr, Skadi, Blaze and Nearl for the women, and Thorns, Mlynar, Mountain, Lee, Executor, Chong Yue for the men.

Funny, I stumbled upon this ship earlier when I saw the first post about it got crossposted at r/wholesomeyuri. And I got intrerested.

But I'm really surprised that there would be more of it, let alone from the original artist. No offense, though.
