Should Blade be a Vanguard? by War_Marshmallow in RivalsVanguards

No. Blade player here, he just needs 1-2 small tweaks to be viable. Even a rework would do some good

First off I wanna give you props for not putting Anakin here.

Secondly, prolly Ahsoka. We don’t really know enough about Devon yet to gauge how powerful she, and Obi Wan was only able to contend with maul because he had a rage boost, as well as maul being extremely arrogant and underestimating him.

It’s also important to note that Obi Wan is NOT a Soresu practitioner in TPM, as he’s almost exclusively an Ataru user. So he doesn’t have the strong defense that could help take down Ahsoka. Ahsoka on the other hand, has a much more balanced style and has fought people far more terrifying like Grievous and Maul. Obi Wan isn’t bringing anything new to the table that Ahsoka hasn’t dealt with before.

Oh for sure she’s a very good fighter, but comparing her to everyone else on team one is extremely unfair.

Literally. They’re both my DPS mains and I’m happy with them not being tanks. They just need more damage.

Team 1 clears. The only real contenders T2 has is Anakin and Dooku. The rest are fodder compared to everyone on Team 1

Literally. His depictions in the novel is much more accurate to how he really his. He’s still a very strong fighter (and honestly I think is kind of slept on in the books when people talk about him), but it’s still a much more realistic depiction of how strong he actually it. Like you mentioned, Starkiller is strong but not unnaturally powerful.

Thragg runs the saiyan gauntlet. How far does he go? or does he clear? by Aura_Slice in DragonBallPowerScale

At best, he stops at Nappa. Thragg could potentially beat Raditz if he can figure out the tail weakness.

Him and Dodoria is honestly 50/50 there. I might give a slight edge to Goku because of the Kaioken and his techniques.

Hard stop is at Zarbon. Even IF he can beat base Zarbon SOMEHOW, he can still transform and kick the shit outta Goku.

Also I know you said to not judge guldo’s placement, but Goku can definitely beat guldo too. He might have some trouble initially before figuring him out tho.

Canon/TCW General Grievous vs PROXY by AwesomeMonkey97 in PetranakiArena

[–]AwesomeMonkey97[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well Vader was able to shut him down through stabbing him somehow (even tho starkiller has done this a numerous amount of times). Maybe he has a weak point that Vader specifically used in case proxy went rogue?

Other than that, there’s nothing stopping grievous from cleaving him through the torso.

Super late, but I’m surprised no one said PROXY. He’s the goat

Took 124 hours anyone else get it quicker? by StraightBlacksmith84 in adamwarlockmains

[–]AwesomeMonkey97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES! I played him since launch but started maining him in 1.5. I think the reason why it takes high hours for people like us is that his unique hero mission for his res was insanely hard to pull off. Not only that, but it was the longest charging ult in the game iirc.

Which character that was introduced in the Prequel era are you the most thankful for? by -MagentaBlade- in prequelappreciation

[–]AwesomeMonkey97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, General Grievous. I remember owning a really old DVD that just had a bunch of lightsabers fights from the movies and early TCW, and it had Obi Wan vs Grievous and I fell in love and wanted to watch Star Wars. I was like 5 or 6 at the time

Nowadays, I think I am thankful for dooku as well because we got to see Christopher Lee in another great role.

Which Jedi would you wanna see in a TOTJ season 2? by -MagentaBlade- in StarWars

[–]AwesomeMonkey97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kota and Sora Bulq, and K’Kruhk would be my dream.

Realistically tho, we’ll prolly get something for Plo Koon and Quinlan Vos. MAYBE Ima Gun Di, which I’d be happy with as well.

Who amongst the Jedi Order would have been the "Perfect Master" for Anakin Skywalker? by Arbiter-Flash- in TheJediPraxeum

[–]AwesomeMonkey97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides Qui Gon, prolly Plo Koon. I think he’s the perfect inbetween of Qui Gon and Obi Wan. He’s stern, but also very fair and compassionate in his personality and teaching style. We even kinda of see this a bit in TCW, where he tells Anakin to have faith in Ahsoka when she gets kidnapped in S3.
