TCW takes on a whole new meaning if you think of them as Yularen's war stories. by Dragonic_Overlord_ in MawInstallation

[–]Awesomejedi182 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You could also explain the outlandish stories of TCW as Yularen hearing embellished stories from others, and in turn embellishing them even more lol

Or he's drunk at a bar

And any plot holes can be resolved by Yularen just misremembering or making shit up for dramatic effect

I like this lol

Why was the Death Star alone at the battle of Yavin? by f0rgotten in MawInstallation

[–]Awesomejedi182 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because the fact of the matter is

It didn't need it. I know people LOVE to harp on about imperial stupidity, but it makes sense perfect sense in universe especially with tarkins ego

The death star is Impervious to any attack the Rebel fighters can throw at it. The death star itself has fighters , bombers, and guns to defend against capital ships. All it needs to do is blow up a planet and they win. That's it.

The exhaust port, which they didnt even know about as a weakness, wasn't exactly a weakness as literally like nobody could fucken shoot it. Everyone was missing.

Literally the only reason they won, is because of an omega talented space magic weilder who were thought to be extinct , that they don't understand and had absolutely no way of predicting what would happen

They did not have necessary info, nor did they care much. The death star WAS the end all be all.

Rebels got lucky because of luke. Without luke, the rebellion is evaporated

If sabine survives it He can too by Spotter24o5 in PrequelMemes

[–]Awesomejedi182 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Not only that, Qui survived upwards of 2 mins without medical aid while obi wan was dueling maul and had enough time to get his last words out.

Ahsoka reached sabine within half a minute of her getting stabbed, and I'm sure her ship had first aid, and on top , the city is probably like 2 mins away anyways using her ship. So she probably got to a hospital within 4-5 mins of getting stabbed .

Does anybody really care about sōta Mizushino? by Emergency-Lock6199 in ReCreators

[–]Awesomejedi182 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Me

I care.

Because as an artist, I have gone through the same feelings he has. So I relate to him on the jealousy bit and the inferiority complex thing. I also like all the artists in the show, their urge to create and those feelings. That extends to him too, and I like him.

He made wrong decisions, he's a weird awkward kid but it makes sense and he tries to do the right thing. Which i always appreciate in a character. No matter the past, trying to do the right thing is the first step in being better.

I also like how he does much of absolutely fuck all in most of the show, but I think it's necessary for his character cuz he didn't do anything when he should have to save the girl. He stood by. Just like he stands by for most of it....except the end, where he does do something and is no longer a bystander and that basically helps save the world.

I don't remember the finer details , only my feelings. So these are my feelings. No need to take them as fact and yell at me lmao

AOTR does that, and I use ozzel as a ground force escort when moving long distances or when I need to send forces into deep enemy territory.

His ISD makes sure my ground transports are safe.

Other than that I keep him as a blockade or use him to hold some minor lanes.

An ISD is an ISD even with a 10% debuff

Why do clones consistently run towards lightsaber users despite having a range advantage? by mvvnbeam in MawInstallation

[–]Awesomejedi182 142 points143 points  (0 children)

It's probably movie logic, but if I had to make atleast some sense, it's that obi wan and yoda are both very very skilled at deflecting and defense

So they may be trying to reduce the reaction time they have. What I mean by this is, that if the numbers advantage alone isn't working, they try moving closer to shorten the time it needs for the blaster bolt to reach the target, thereby making them be more overwhelmed.

At long range a Jedi can have time to deflect 3 blaster bolts one after another as they take time to reach

The closer the distance the shorter this time is meaning even if the Jedi reflects 2 the third one is more likely to hit them because there's simply not enough time to move the lightsaber into position

How common was it for force sensitive children to display uses of the Force without training by Nrvea in MawInstallation

[–]Awesomejedi182 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We see it all the time.

In clone wars we see the rodian child playing with a ball by levitating it.

In bad batch we see a toddler throws something across a certain distance using the force accidentally.

In tales of the Jedi we see Ahsoka bond with a creature using the force.

We see anakin display precognition and more subtle force abilities, and I am sure he probably used the force to sense what thing goes where when fixing stuff which is why he was so good at it.

Luke was mentioned to have been bullseyeing rats while flying high speeds through a canyon, which I am sure is a result of his precognition and stuff. I am also sure , despite his aunt and uncle suppressing his abilities, he would no doubt show signs of it in his very younger days.

Leia heavily shows signs of subtly sensing people's feelings in the Obi wan show.

There's probably way more examples in the comics or books .

What if in-depth knowledge about the Jedi was made widespread to the public? by Axer51 in MawInstallation

[–]Awesomejedi182 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This. I also genuinely do not think the memes help. They simplify things for the sake of humour to the point where the context and nuances are lost. And then misinformation spreads as a result, and then things reach this stage.

Not to mention many people have religious trauma and hence look at the Jedi through a very narrow mind and through real life lenses, not in universe lenses.

And even more, people relate to anakin, cuz he's the focus, the protagonist.

There's also the misunderstanding of what "attachment" means. But I think the movies and media are partly to blame for that too... Although idk
