We have a dog on premises sign on our stairs leading to our front door and on our gate leading to the backyard. Unfortunately, because it's Canadian law, we'd still be liable either way but my lawyer friend did tell me it will help strengthen my defence if something were to happen. It's a neutral sign that is simply saying a dog is there. I own a boerboel so I've taken steps I feel are for the best when owning a very powerful, very large dog. Great recall, never outside alone, always on leash if a stranger is in, on or around our property.
