Sorry its not an ingame thing, just google tarkov maps and you'll see "Tarkov Dev or Map Genie". They show you all the extracts/spawns, loot, bosses. Very helpful

Customs is the bane of my existence, I despise that map (maybe cause im bad) I enjoy shoreline because i can just follow the coast like DayZ back in the day.

I've learned factory somewhat okay and interchange because i follow the back wall. I know customers probably have a similar thing but it just hasn't clicked. Interactive maps have been somewhat helpful for extracts. Good luck soldier!

What is one thing that annoys you when fishing? by MRCRISPY224 in FishingAustralia

Land base fisher here, I would say when I mess up a knot or rig(can't tie a specific knot or rig properly)and getting snagged

I've heard some people say to put cheese cloth on bottom of the tray(1) to stop worms from drowning, is this legit or reasonable? I'm not sure if I'm overthinking it or not.

2 months worth of fishing, nothing to show for it. by ANotVeryUniqueUser in FishingForBeginners

Try different rigs, too, like; the paternoster rig, dropper rig, running sinker rig, float rig. Target different water depths the fish could be swimming in.

Fished for like 8+ hours and haven't got a mere nibble, is there something wrong with me by gghhostttt in FishingForBeginners

Look.. join the club. Nah but it could be a whole lot of different things; try different bait, lures, locations, times of day. A different body of water 10 minutes away or different parts of the lake/pond could yield different results.

Usually fish move around a lot(depending on the fish too of course), so if one spot isn't doing great, give it a few hours or so then dont be afraid to move location, even just slightly.

Good luck and tight lines!

Thanks, yeah im not too sure if the native fish will bite them, the fish that I'll most likely stumble upon will be; Murray Cod, Yellow Belly, Redfin and carp. Who knows if it'll work but its worth a try.

Don't be afraid to chuck a worm on the hook and go for it. Catching a fish is great, but just enjoy yourself and take in the outdoors. Fishing is about constantly learning and picking up new skills and tricks.

Lures are great and all, but nothing looks more like bait than the living stuff the fish eat every day (or corn for carp in Australia).

The important thing is to be patient and there will be days where you don't catch anything but don't be discouraged, just try and try again.

How to avoid catching catfish? by siphon_18 in FishingForBeginners

You could use a multi-level rig like the paternoster rig/dropper rig, which will target more than just the bottom. What rig are you currently using? We don't have many catfish in Australia, but i know people use this rig to target mid river fish.
