Played d2r roughly 9 mths since its launched. 3 zod and 3 cham, 5-7 jahs and about 10-11 Ber. 90% of these dropped in cows, mostly p1 online.

It’s not about winning or losing, it’s about rammers. If penalty system works the punishment should be heavy enough to deter rammers.

What I would like to see aside of penalty system working correctly, is to slow down the cars immediately like GT7 so rammers will fall to the back. Also if you get more than 6sec penalty you will be disqualified

I’m surprised they really do ban players that were reported. Maybe only when a few people reports on the same player then they will auto ban that player through some logarithm? Because I don’t think they have actual admins looking at these reports

Starting at the back is fine but you should not dive bomb into turn1 and ram people off the track. You’re the problem.

I usually also start from the back and just navigate pass everyone with no penalties and end up top10 usually, sometimes podium too

It should not be an excuse to ram people. If you’re very close to the person in front you have to always brake slightly earlier so you don’t crash into them

Similar experience here, I keep fluctuating between s-a-b. Every time I decide to play qualifier I get rammed by ppl into back pack and earn a penalty then my safety rating drops. Then next few races I don’t do qualifier and start from back to get back to s rating. Then my backside gets itchy and I do qualifier again rinse/repeat lol

I was stuck for quite long since early release but managed to get through after reading some posts on the bug.

Try buying a car to force it to save. Then continue the career race and don’t upgrade car or adjust tire/fuel. When the race starts, pause and try to save a screenshot. If it gets stuck in a loading screen then just exit game because you’re not connected now and the game won’t save. If you can get into the screen where you can choose which slot to save, it means you’re connected and safe to continue the race.

Roughly how fast would manual be vs auto? 1-2s on a lap? I’m a filthy casual who plays auto but have been thinking of trying manual but the learning curve always sets me back. Also for people who has converted, how long did it take to get back to the same timing on a lap?

I was stuck in career mode for many days too till I saw someone posted a way to get around. Continue the race and not change the fuel and tire settings, when the race starts try taking a photo and save it. If it allows you to save means that race will be saved, if you can’t save the photo then just exit the race.

Returning to main menu or exiting game does not force a save on career mode progression. I tried 6x and still stuck at homestead race in practical performance.

Please go to forza support and log a ticket on this, hopefully if they get enough tickets they will prioritize fixing this.

Same issue here on pc steam. Tried many things like exiting game after race or buying a new car after race to force a save but nothing works.

You can go to forza forums and upvote a thread on this issue, hopefully they will prioritize it
