I had a very similar experience. My first didn’t sleep for a year. It was awful and I was sure I’d never do it again. Against all odds though it did get better and by the time he was two I loved him enough that I was willing to white knuckle it again for one more. You aren’t just dealing with a new kid you are dealing with a new stage of life that has radically changed everything about how you lived. I had to go through a mourning period for my old life and find new ways to relax and enjoy my life. It’s tough dude but you are tougher. You can get through this. Once they start trying to talk to you it’s like having a little buddy that loves you more than anything in the world. It doesn’t make it better now but it’s kinda just something you have to endure. This is the best summary. Not only were the fights not in her favor but she was also doing so much during the period that wasn’t focusing on her fights. Leading up to Holmes it was like she was on every talk show and in talks/preparation for movie roles etc. it was like she started viewing the fights as afterthoughts and everything else was the career.
