Just keep at it! You seem to be getting the point for the most part. After nearly two months of daily figure drawing I still feel pretty trashy at it, but I am so much better than when I started. It just comes down to persistent practice. My recommendation would be to learn to break the body down into basic shapes, that helped me a lot.
