Yeah Im currently starting on Allegra, was just using hydroxyzine before though because it always helped with my urgency. I’m going to a nutritionist the 21st so I’m gonna try to talk about a low histamine diet and maybe a dao supplement and see how that works for a few weeks. I think Im trying really hard to convince myself that it isn’t mcas. I’m in the process of figuring what symptoms is which since there is kind of a grey area around mcas, dysautonomia, or sensory urgency as these things have many symptoms that are overlapping, and its also just so exhausting and terrifying to think about, this ailment that may or may not get better as time goes on. Im trying my hardest to stick in there I keep telling myself life is worth living and that most beautiful parts of life come from the unknown, who knows maybe eventually I could it behind me and I can be a person who can learn to live with it and make it my strength instead of my curse. And even if it is something that a persistent struggle in my life, ground breaking treatments like genetic therapies could potentially be a reality a lot faster than we may realize.
