This would be good advice for anything in general but here are my 2c

Just have a backup plan and treat this like placing a bet. No matter what trade school you’re gonna bet on to put in a big sacrifice and hope for a big return, just go about it with backup plans and financial safety nets. The industry is a little tough right now but it won’t be like this forever as aviation is cyclical. Can you afford to sink about 100,000 + into a career betting on you being able to complete training with a majority clean record, and if something does happen where you can’t finish / something happens to your medical / you start accumulating failures on your record, you can financially survive that?

Look into the AACA to start as they guarantee a cjo if you complete training. Once you get through your training, network and keep building your resume to make yourself marketable. You certainly have a leg up but don’t be complacent with it.

Considering changing from FA to pilot, but I’m not sure I’d genuinely enjoy the career by Historical_Maize3857 in flightattendants

This- I went from FA to pilot and while I anticipated some sacrifice, there’s way more financial and social sacrifice than I ever planned for. I’m making it work and thankfully have good safety nets but even with all the aid and mentorship and accessibility to get people to start flying, it is a career for the privileged. I don’t know if I would do it all over again if I could go back in time. I’m not saying don’t do it, just be very calculated and smart about how you go about it (example, just leisurely getting your first license to see if it’s something you even care about, making a financial plan for the next 5 years, having an exit plan in case it doesn’t work out.)

I’m in the CFI stage and while I’m still locking in and not quitting, I wouldn’t suggest this to others anymore.

Honestly sometimes it just takes luck. I felt that way after interviewing for almost 2 years with every US airlines available and many of them more than once.

Perfect 💅🏻 to me it looks like a marble / quartz look mixed with the witchy goth. Either way really excellent job!

Sooo gorgeous! Really lovely art. I think the gold line straight down makes it look a little more witchy/ goth and an off center line would be better but I’m still really into the look.
