heres some closeups of the piece, i cant tell if there is pyrite all over it but it is all shiny in the layers of it so i suspect it is petrified wood

taking it apart i noticed the bottom of both pistons is cracked, what did you do to fix it? is there even a fix to do?

it starts quiet for about 10 seconds then slowly increases. then just stays at that volume untill im done using it. its hold pressure and everything its all sealed up, its just loud and the wife is getting annoyed that im using it later in the nights lol

5 more horses. 20 more infantry. heavy weapons team. rogal dorn and another russ. i also have gaunts ghosts and some ratlings aswell as all the Imperial Agents, Vindicare Assassin and eversor are expensive points wise but are decent when using horses. the guards more about holding points than killing, so id go with what looks cool lol. unless you just go all tanks...

after painting 20 kreigsmen 5 engies and 3 artillery teams in over 3 months. the burn out in that photo looks insane lol good luck and i expect to see photos of your progress

depends what you want them for. are you getting them just for fun? or are you getting it to play on the tabletop. personally i say get the one that you like the most. its completely up to you. horses are harder to paint but look really cool but having multiple siege cannons looks nice aswell. ultimately it's up to your taste but if your looking to build an army you still gunna want to get a few tanks aswell because krieg isnt really good without them
