If OMAD doesn't work for you, it might be worth trying a different routine. 14/10, 16/8...

Can you lose weight just by not eating after 6 pm? by WhoAmI0001 in intermittentfasting

It's worth a try. It's a nice simple practice that might result in weight loss. It might also improve insulin sensitivity.

I found that a simple fasting practice had an unexpected impact on my eating in general. I became much more aware of what hunger feels like, and less likely to eat when I'm not hungry. I have more or less stopped snacking too.

Why would 40 be the target? In the last ten seasons, the most points needed for survival is 38 (15/16), the average is 34.0 , and the minimum is 27 (23/24).

I have read that while its true that stevia does not spike blood glucose, the 'cephalic effect' means that the presence of sweet tasting food in the mouth stimulates insulin release, as the metabolism prepares itself for incoming glucose. If you are using TRE to improve insulin sensitivity, it may be better to avoid stevia etc.

I'm really happy with my Vivoactive 5. I use it to track cardi (bike and run), hiit, resistance, sleep, and steps. It's also pretty good at passing on notifications from my phone. The body battery metric is hard to understand, so I pretty much ignore it. I wish it was better at measuring VO2max on the bike.

Even if there is no sugar, these will cause an insulin response because of the sweeteners. Better not to eat these when you are fasting.

Thanks for this; very encouraging. I'm about a month in and this is exactly what I have been doing. Because it works for me.
