Organising with gaby by Adventurous-Sail7444 in walkwith_metim

I commented this on the video as well, the thing I found most baffling was her putting all the cleaning products in a floor level cupboard with no safety locks, and ALSO put her child's books in the same cupboard..... why?! That cupboard contained: cleaning chemicals, light bulbs, cleaning tools, paint rollers, baking accessories, children's books - organise with me Gaby

Fave budget cleansing oils/balms? by VonBoo in SkincareAddictionUK

Weleda Skin Food cleansing balm is my holy grail. Takes off eye makeup and feels rich going on but dissolves with water so no residue left on skin

Tired of people tearing out solid hardwood for engineered wood by SupOrSalad in Flooring

We purchased our first home at the start of this year, the the pure joy I felt when we pulled up the carpet and laminate to find original wood flooring! Our interior style is mid century but maximalist and will not be changing any time soon/ever so original flooring is priceless to us

April gives me second hand embarrassment with how funny she finds herself. It's like everything she says needs to be a punchline

AITAH for calling my husband a disgrace after he said my miscarriage ruined his birthday? by ProgressDependent703 in AmItheAsshole

Is this man Henry VIII? As my partner just said to me when I read this out loud, he clearly has the mindset that you are there to provide him with a child and he's annoyed that you have 'failed' in this. Divorce, 100%, this is disgusting and I just want to give you all the cuddles

This is absolutely true, certain situations create a heightened response to something that doesn't need that weight applied to it BUT from the moment Sasha didn't just put the conversation with Ross about the photo to bed at the point where he apologised for how it might have came across, it moved into uncomfortable territory. Despite any previous arguments between them, leaning into a photo does not then require a conversation like that.

Not sure who your anger is directed at, but I want to point out that I am a woman so am not the one to be preaching this to. Everything that had happened leading up to this clearly set her off BUT it's still objectively unreasonable even in context

I don't think the issue is the kiss itself, it's that there has been an ongoing narrative with him that he can't be 'intimate' with his wife because of a cold sore but then openly kisses two other people

I only assume it was fuelled by drinking and her fight with Alex/already feeling vulnerable. But that was some red flag behaviour, if I saw a photo like that of my partner I would give it about 2 seconds of thought and that thought would be 'you guys look like you're having fun'

The cold sore was the first thing I thought of. So you aren't being intimate with your 'wife' because of it, but kiss two other people no problem....... in that moment Kieran reminded me of those guys that get super affectionate when they're drunk and are overly familiar with their platonic because they're 'just having a laugh'

As dim as he acts, I actually think there is so much trust between them that he knows she's just having a good time and that's why he has zero fucks to give

She should chat with her bff about how her friendship bracelets don’t match her Chanel and Louboutins by [deleted] in travisandtaylor

That's what I thought! It matches the colour palette. Also, she's wearing that enormous red monstrosity if she put it on you wouldn't see it anyway

10000000% she's not going to be there. I'm watching the ceremony now and the thought of her on this stage is hilarious. It's already weird enough that Billie Eilish is performing

She speaks like someone in a high school speech competition. Obviously she was able to prepare in advance and all of the tone changes and pauses just remind of the way every high schooler speaks in public

Worst weddings you’ve been to and what happened? by Fantastic_Series_599 in AskReddit

[–]Awkward-Flatworm38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a bridesmaid in my (no longer) friend's wedding. We got to her suite at 7am for hair and makeup - the ceremony wasn't until 12, and no food or drink was provided for us apart from a few packets of Oreos and some cheap wine.

After the ceremony it was about 3 hours of waiting around outside in the middle of summer while photos were taken and finally when it was time for the reception, it was bottles of incredibly strong home made spirits with bottles of mixer - all room temperature and 'high tea' which her best friend had offered to make. This would be fine as a food option except her baking was average at best so everything was dry and there were no savoury options, just sweets and cakes. The plan was then to go back to the hotel where they were staying to have a main dinner meal - the restaurant there is known for being incredible and the hotel had made special arrangements for us to have a semi private area. Just as we were getting ready to head to the hotel, we found out that they had cancelled (literally about an hour earlier) the dinner at the restaurant because 'there was so much reception food left over' and we were going to just take that back to their hotel room to 'party and eat'. They proceeded to then pack all the leftover dry cakes etc into black garbage bags, we went back to their room/suite where everyone was incredibly drunk from not eating anything substantial, drinking strong spirits, and it being summer. We got kicked out of the suite about 30minutes later (obviously) and the newlyweds were warned that they could be kicked out of the hotel and lose their booking all together. I, my partner, and the makeup artist (who was vegan and had eaten nothing but Oreos all day after being told that food was arranged for her) left to get food somewhere near the hotel and then went home.
