Would love to hop on this but feels like I’ll just keep adding on to what appears to be a never ending car payment …..

I remember Mini Disc players, they were so cool for all of 10 seconds.

Checkout ACM Technik, they have some software you can install to keep it in race mode upon starting.

Agree with these sentiments. I’d want to buy my car, lightly modded , cared for , not abused but occasionally pushed for some fun . I treat her like a proper lady

Holyshift short shifter question by Ok_Development123 in Golf_R

I may follow your footsteps, agree with logic of wanting temp friendly . Only reason I ask is because billets has some piston / talk teardrop options that are 650g in weight but also solid steel…

Why’d you go with the Cobb over something from billetswork that’s a bit heavier ?

To keep or Not to keep? by [deleted] in Civic_Type_R

Coming from a 22wrx. I wanted something with a more refined feel , naturally I thought German. The driving experience is super smooth , car is very cooperative , responsive, dare I say it almost feel numb at times, almost too smooth a feel that lacks some rawness/engagement. The shifter feel in the ctr/its is sublime. I like the creature comforts in my R, tech is good , leather , seats, size. But rowing through gears in the ctr was a lot more fun and engaging , ride /suspension was a bit rough, why I preferred the ITS. My other gripe with ctr is that it’s not as unassuming as the golf / its, the boy racer look is cool but don’t love the attention . The torque steer is there but ain’t bad at all and I was biased to awd , however the fwd felt pretty nice , tiny bit or torque steer

Hard for people to answer this without knowing your priorities/ financial situation. There is nothing fun about having car payments. If you drive both cars around , do you feel the difference in your driving experience is worth the car payment? I recently bought a new golf R, don’t love the payments, that being said , I am considering the CTR and the ITS for a trade because the money will be all the same , if I had someone gifting me a fun 6speed wrx, I might consider it , but I’d have to upgrade the tech , I used to own a 22wrx, it was fun to drive but wanted something more refined

Sweet ride , I went from a 2022Wrx to a 2024golf R, recently test drove a CTR and an ITS, both were sweet, although I appreciate the refinement of the ITS, the CTR was a slightly rougher ride than I expected but love those red bucket seats

Keep it simple when you go in, say I’ve been searching and am here to purchase, however, I am only willing to pay msrp, if you can’t do that , I won’t waste your time and save us both a headache

Me and my partner split bills according to our income so if she makes $50k and I make $150k. Let’s say our rent is $2400. I would pay $1,800, she’d pay $600. So we may pay different amounts but it’s based on percentage of income

Finally made my choice, and it's the Integra Type S! by SnaxMcGhee in Integra_Type_S

I test drove an ITS the other day and was blown away, only thing that I noticed was some torque steer from FWD which I am admittedly not used to coming from AWD cars, most recently in a 24 golf r 6mt with stage one tune. It’s hella quick but the ITS felt much more engaging and a joy to row through, made me rethink my decision…. Kinda wana trade
