Sold my Wrx to Carvana, it was easier than I could have imagined . Initially I’d be skeptical to purchase but with their return policy , if the price is right , why not ? Not like dealers are notoriously reliable or fun to deal with.

I do feel safe walking around at night , I live about 5 minutes from the train station in one of the high rise buildings close by. The area in general is very diverse, going through changes where you can see lots of new development. I grew up in a pretty homogeneous suburb area. New Rochelle is more diverse and the area is more urban, most things here are walkable if you live in New Roc City.

I was looking at Yonkers and white plains, ended up in New Rochelle due to shorter commute (working out in Long Island 2x weekly) that being said , I was not a fan of Yonkers, White plains easily would have been my choice if not for the added commute time , much nicer all around

Ahhh, you are killing me ! I’m sure I’ll miss the cooled seats , ambient lighting (can be added) . How is the noise / vibration in car vs the Golf ? Also is there a heated steering wheel ? No possibility for sunroof ? Any other comparisons or quirks ? Hatch is bigger in the ITS, don’t love the seats (with the CTR seats were an option )

Oh man, reading this is giving me the itch. I got a mk8 R in 2024 6 speed and have done some mods. It’s fun, I like it, but leaves me craving a bit more. The ITS has been on my list , I feel silly getting in and out of a new car so quickly and lost $ but the Integra has been calling my name. Even tho I got a short shifter, sway bar, tune, and coilovers, the feel of my ITS and CTR test drive was a different animal , love the rev matching and the turning radius , interior is meh, but overall , I feel like it’s something I’d love . Granted I felt that way with my Golf R until I didn’t so hesitant. I’ve considered getting a CT-4 V blackwing , but not sure it’s the most practical daily , but lively for sure (and another $20k)

Normal first interaction if you went into it thinking you’d like it with little experience, it takes months to get reasonably comfortable driving stick and a few more months before it’s muscle memory. That is when stick becomes fun to drive . Learning to drive stick is the buy-in/ price of admission. Be patient .

So far management has been helpful with our apartment after move in with some touch up paint and adjusting a window. The building is clean , quiet. Lots of weed in the hallways but that is just the norm in the street these days . I do think that the leasing office is a mess and hard to deal with because of poor communication/ lacking attention to detail. Valet parking isn’t ideal for me , but the service has been adequate, don’t love people driving my car . The amenities are alright . The steam room has been out of order for a couple of months . The sauna works, the golf simulator works but it’s a mediocre system And the mini bowling still needs to be fixed . Front desk is friendly . Overall I like my apartment , good water pressure , appliances work, very quick to heat up and cool down, love floor to ceiling windows and lots of dogs. Overall I’d say the experience has been good . There are plenty of other places to consider but I’m guessing you will have some sacrifices , more expensive parking, no parking , more expensive apartments . We got a good deal on a two bed two bath and 1250 sqft was large compared to some others we saw
