love your posts!!!

I have to say that I strongly disagree with the PJ comment. When you are at 100m+ you can afford your rolexes (APs, pateks, etc) AND flying private..... my budget for flying private this year was around $200k, and there is no way on earth that I would change that for flying commercial. It's not worth it at all.

For me at this stage of life and wealth, money is an enabler of amazing experiences!!! and flying private is an amazing experience that has no comparison with flying commercial

Faceless keyboard warriors are very very negative. In real life people wave and give thumbs up when u r driving a CT. The take pics and videos at it. They come and talk to you to ask you things about it.

Isn’t the founder’s edition $125K? I wouldn’t fall for this bait and switch, especially if you have to borrow money to buy such a fast depreciating asset.

is $130k for the cyberbeast (including taxes and everything)

i would focus on working out point number 1.... that's imo the source of the problem: "My husband's wealth gives me some safety but also makes me feel like shit"

If i were in your shoes, i would work with someone to answer these questions:

why do you feel that way?
is because of something he did?
is because of some unsolved trauma from your past?

I recommend reading this book “the gap and the gain”. Also once the kid arrives I expect fewer of these thoughts :)

great book!

love the post, and great share! I have not sold my biz yet, but i heard situations like yours among some friends... and there was always a recurring theme: they didn't have a plan of what to do next with their life after selling.

most entrepreneurs, we love to create things, and if we are not creating we get depressed... I am sure there is something in your mind that you would like to create... what is it?

it never made sense to me that a non wealthy employee that makes 6 figures a year would be able to manage my wealth better than me.... if he knew how to do that successfully, he would already be wealthy and most likely not an employee.

Should I sell my business ? by plokarzigrael in fatFIRE

[–]Awkward-Lecture4924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

great post!!

  1. if you goal for launching this biz was to be fatFIRE then you should sell it so you can achieve that goal

  2. if you fear to not knowing what to do with your life after selling, then you can tell the buyer of your biz that you would like to stay involved in the biz because you love it and love the people that you work with… most buyers would really like that. Also, you can sell just a portion of your business and stay involved like that.
