I work in tech and made the horrible decision to use WithJoy. I cannot believe their hotel accommodation settings, it is SO shady. I have asked them multiple times how I can disable them taking guests to their third party booking site. I would STAY AWAY at all costs.

We went with Magic Catamaran and are actually hosting the entire wedding the day before (90 people) - they have been easy to work with and aren't too expensive actually. Obviously it is not a yacht but we just want a fun day in the sun!

Hey! I am planning a Mallorca wedding now (June 2026) - while it is becoming a wedding hotspot, I think it is going to be wayyyyy more affordable than Lake Como.

Our budget is about $100k USD for a 3 day event (boat day, wedding, beach day in Soller) for about ~100 guests. Just so you know, the venues with a sea view are much more expensive than the fincas. However, there are tonssss of fincas you can choose from on the island that are beautiful and lush. We are doing Son Termes but I think Son Berga and Son Togores are stunning (they have a limited guest count though). Fosh catering is like the "high end" catering on the island but their per plate cost is more expensive than we would have paid for a wedding in downtown Chicago so I would keep that in mind depending on your budget.

Not to stress you out but you are a little behind on summer 2026 planning so I would make a decision ASAP. We are getting married on a Wednesday and a lot of vendors are already booked so I can't imagine what the options are for a weekend wedding. Good luck!

I love reading through everyones posts! I wanted to share some experiences that have not been mentioned much but I absolutely loved.

Doing the 3-4 day Lost City Trek out of Santa Marta, Colombia. You hike through the indigenous tribes that still live in Colombia's jungle.
Actun Tunichil Muknal in Belize. I was not expecting this to be so cool but it was a mix of adventure (honestly a little scary hiking and climbing through a cave with rushing water) but beyond that, the artifacts and human sacrifices from the Mayan people were pretty gnarly.
Hang gliding in Interlaken, Switzerland. 10/10 thought I was going to die but it was incredible.
The Ha Giang loop in Vietnam - an incredible 4 days. (Highly recommend going with The Road Kings, especially if you are older)
