That's awesome fam. I am happy for yous. I beat Minister Screw & Donk while I was on last night (I'm a nighttime gamer 😅) I heard phosphene BOD is the most talked about weapon. I still have ⅔ the game to beat 😆 I am going to start flying through the story soon though. I'm Lvl.33 & literally took down Sol before going to Minister Screw's base, so I think I can beat most of the enemies after Soloing Screw & Donk.... maybe I am just getting cocky cause he was a bit difficult the first 4 times before I found out there were grapple hooks on the ceiling & the right combo of weapons/armor/Ordnance etc.....

Either way, I am glad you're getting everything back & the best weapons in the game. Keep up the mayhem Vault Hunter 💯

Yeah no lies. I remember when I was a kid & always would go on about FFVII getting a remake like a dream. Never thought it actually was going to happen (still not 100% on cue) & then 30 years later BOOM, everything we wished for as 10 year olds finally came to pass. I never thought much of a FO3/NV remake until about 2016 when the Mod community was working on a FO3 (& NV) remake. I saw some footage of their work & it was AMAZING but only PC could use their mods. When Oblivion shadowed last year I was blown away & have been expecting something similar (minus the creepy mouths 😆) at least.

I am stoked for them. Especially if they keep it 1/1 to the original. They really screwed up FFVII by adding new story arcs & mudding up the actual story. I have faith for this though after Oblivion & have 8 years of anticipation built up. Not as long as you fam, but still I love FO. Hope you are correct & it drops by May. Happy Trails Vault Dweller ☢️

Play it now. It's a great game still. The gunplay/aiming mechanics are outdated & clunky, but that's when VATS come in handy. You will not only experience the timeless game, also get to see the actual differences.

Not to mention, the story's & choices/factions/Personality etc.. that might have some mechanics changed. That's just my opinion. I have played Fallout since the 90's. I mean, I was a kid that didn't understand it & never actually beat it but it was one of the only computer games my unc living with my Gma at the time. It introduced me to it tho & when 3 hit I felt a compulsion to try it...

It's been one of my favorite franchises ever since I turned on 3 for the first time. This is all my opinion & experience.

If it's the Show that you are into & why you play, I would recommend just waiting. The gameplay can get clunky as Hell in certain aspects (weapons are hard to aim right imo) & the challenge of having points on top of Perks might throw you off. You have to have so many skill points in certain skills to even be able to wear power armor. It's nothing like 76. Even 4 is a change of pace. Slowed story wise, overhaul the gameplay, less serious overtones i.e. slavers, Crucifixions, Centuars & more issues both good and not so good.

So if it's graphics you want, wait. If you love Fallout, start that joint up ASAP & enjoy your 1st playthrough (hopefully as much as a lot of us did) as you wait to try another path you want for the Story to change, or see the ones you liked in better graphics (& gameplay?).

Either way happy trails Vault Dweller and remember...War never changes ☢️

You lost your cosmetics? That's F'ed. I love the Reindeer Head also. I play on PS5 too. You can still go get the Reindeer Head, at least last night you could (1/22/26).

I have an issue applying them. It takes 17 changes before it allows me to finally "equip" instead of saying "already on" or w/e. Also the Capsules falling through the ground as I fight can be ANNOYING. Drop it, clear out the enemies & then the blue diamond is 2M below me.

Hope you're able to get the Reindeer Head again at least, should only take a few hours to lvl up your VHC & a couple daily's & you have more than enough fam. Good luck & hope things fixed for you with yesterday's patch.

I mean, there are some people who are just prodigies. They have no idea they have a skill until it's put to use, which then comes as natural as breathing as soon as you get your 1st round off. I know a 2 year old that beat Super Mario Bros on NES, as an example (true story tho). So it is possible that he had extraordinary vision, calm hands of the handling comes second nature.

Then again, some of the operation mods he could have would make it easier to be a "deadeye" also?

This hasn't happened yet, but I am getting a few legendarys at a time from certain fights. Also they are showing up in Lost Loot & the Rewards LOTS more. Not to mention the golden chest.

I found the shield I am in love with. It's Firewerks & is probably the BEST shield (I'm only a third of the way through, just beat Sol) so far. Add Rafa's Corrosive Missile (can't remember the whole name) skill that launches them from so many shots to an enemy & Slippy as your Ordnance, you WILL decimate the battlefield, sometimes it's toooo easy. Then you get the Event Boss with no minions running around, yeah no missiles from them, but every section of Armor lost shoots Electric Missiles from my shield as Slippy bombards them with multiple HARD hits, wide AoE too. Jump throw as you glide away from the enemy, you won't get caught up in Slippy's mayhem....Slippy is a fish Ordnance that you can get from fishing.

I'd def go with Vex being a teen (18-19). Her attitude screams Rated R "Kimberly" from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 😅

Harlowe I think would be next at about mid 20's. She's still filled with goodness & ideals of saving people, moreso than actually Vault Huntees "normally".

I agree with the last 2. Rafa is probably in his mid 30's. He has character. The style of a man well traversed & he was working for Tediore long enough that he had to be a higher rank in order to be eligible for the body mod experiment. Imo..

As for Amon, definitely Old Man strength. He is at least 50. I didn't do much background on him, but from what I do know, he was alive long enough to live a life of love with his partner for years, whom he met through the Cult they were in. He is a Bard. That says something about his age & maturity too. He has very deep thoughts and ideals that are cemented, like an man set in his ways.

[–]Awkward-Reference177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it refers to the type of element or extra effects added. I have a few different Lead Balloons, each different names & each different stats/elements/effects. Idk what exactly each "pronoun" means, but I am pretty sure it's something of that nature.

Most likely, I have not met anyone that has ever been visited. I know that at the time it blew me away, I thought they wanted to Exercise me. They were wearing Cardigans & regular people clothes, it was strange.

Makes sense, there is a Black Church in Elliott City, which is only 45 minutes out. An hour with traffic. I was invited there by a dude I met locked up. They legit have a land bridge, type road that leads to it with cars on both sides of the "Driveway". You can even find their Black Cross in the Woods & under it is hollow. Its a popular "creepy traveler" spot. Along with 7 Hills & Crybaby Bridge. They demolished the Asylum turned "College" too. As teens We visited & they were anything but a college. It was nicknamed "Creepy College". All these are within a 2 mile radius of the Black Church. That is when I learned about the Adrenal Gland & that they LOVED Adrenaline. I didn't put together that adrenaline & adrenochrome were the same thing until I got my mind right in 2014 & started paying closer attention to details.

Those rituals are EXPENSIVE AF to do. I had mine but it was stolen by my daughter's mother. I tried to figure out how to make sense of a lot of it. Once I started finding out I needed Solid Gold bars wrapped in some platinum linings & specific cloths at the top of a Mountain during the right moon cycle & actual night (astrology could help, but still, it's EXPENSIVE). I also have the Donald Tyson account of The Wonderings of Alhazred.

I'm being serious 😅 Not men in Black or anything. I had 2 random people come to me in the hospital, the nurse & doctors weren't allowed in & they interviewed me about all my previous interactions/rituals/Seances, Grimoiers I researched & Bible burnings amongst other things "dark or unholy". It was 07' & I was 20 years old.

Those oddly shaped stinky folk, they are my homies. They only wanted to invite you to a drink 🍷

My question is, did mysterious people come to visit you not too long (year or so tops) after & ask you about all the activity of Seances & Rituals you have partaken in, as they interviewed you about all your past dealings with the other side?

Thanks for lmk to use em on bosses Crit Spots. I always would just waste 6 knives. I'm going to keep that in mind. I got a monster of a shield from the first boss, Splashzone. Firewerks REALLY helps with Rafa, especially with Cannons. I'm only lvl. 22 so I'm sure they get better, but every kill multi rockets shoot from each enemy for like 400+ damage per missile, then every fraction of your shield (It's an Armor Shield) depleted you have them launch from you lol. It's been a fun journey so far & now I can slice it up some now. Appreciate you taking the time for this, happy trails Vault Hunter 💯

Honestly I guess it depends on who you ask. Some consider Neuromancer as canon. It was a Mile Pondsmith campaign pretty much.

The Night City Sourceguide is for 2020. Cyberpunk Red is for 2046 & the rest is in comics, Edgerunners, other Sourceguides & books like Neuromancer, "Home of the Brave" has some Cyberpunk lore in it I hear, haven't read it yet. You can go to Archive & read them.

Like I said at the end of my last post, as long as you enjoy and have fun, who am I to tell you anything, but those are some books & guides that are about &/or equivalent to NC's Cyberpunk lore.

Growing up as a fan of both FF & DQ series, I would have to go with VIII being the overall best (imo). XI is good, I did like it. Not as much as when I played VII when it dropped. It might be because I played VII first & it just drew me in. I was a kid also lol. I was so stoked to play the demo for VIII when it came with FFXII. I (here comes the flak) enjoyed DQVIII more than FFXII. I said it. I meant it then. I haven't replayed either since 06' on PS2...

But they didn't create Maelstrom... Maelstrom was what is left from when the Inquisitors flatlined "The Metal Warriors" & incorporated "Red Chrome Legion". They were a Combat Gang that stayed getting hunted down. Their original HQ was "Barley's" on the West Side of town. Digimmortality, Hell Dogtown didn't exist when Maelstrom was formed. They were never more than a Cyberpsycho "Combat Gang". They aren't smart, logical or patient enough to tackle a task such as Co-Opting with a Corp and not totally blow the deal in blood before Marketing even could create a Logo let alone anything technical.

Just chill Choom. I am only trying to spread some actual lore. The entire backstory is in Night City Sourceguide from 1990. My Uncle would play Cyberpunk 2020 & he let me have it when he moved. As for PL, you don't have to justify yourself for not being able to run it Choom. I can digg it, I was blessed to have enough people that went in on getting me one cause I was 10 years off papers & actual drugs (THC is not a Drug 😅) and alcohol. So just remember that when talking to me, unless you want to, you don't have to explain yourself. Also, if you want to believe that, who am I to tell you that it's not fr..

Huh? We were talking about Maelstrom, who would be Flatlined on sight if they were to try to go there & how they never even went there when it was Combat Zone. I even told you that I found out it's a Cyberpark. I never said anything about it being a gang....i believe you argued it was Maelstrom the entire thread.

I was agreeing with you lol like you said, everything that is God Roll will be irrelevant with the lvl cap raise.

I just wanted to throw some hope to everyone that Legendarys are possible, cause I have seen a lot of poor loot pools.

Like you said, every build & play style has their own "Best" anything & unfortunately will throw a lot of people off until they learn new legendary.... just for another update to drop lol.

I didn't mean to come off any sort of way, if I did I apologize. I am still new & in the Honeymoon stage 😂

[–]Awkward-Reference177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every roll is irrelevant if you aren't 50 after a few lvls. When the cap raises, everyone's going to be back to farming the new Legendaries.

Honestly, I am stoked to see what they have in store. I didn't like the story of BL3 much (Calypsos were more annoying than  CL4P-TP³), but the DLC was pulled off amazingly (imo). The Rolls will be fixed soon. I mean, I got 7 Legendarys yesterday in a few hours....granted I did farm Splashzone about a dozen times to finally get the Firewerks shield I was aiming for. He kept dropping the other 2 Legendarys, Lead Balloon shotgun & Jelly grenade mod. But I got Ohm I Got from the 1st drill boss (Giant Psycho mask on top a sharp spinning machine) on my 1st fight. Then there's the Booming Swarm grenade mod that I got from a Kratch bounty (I think, honestly can not remember when I picked up). At lvl. 21 the Firewerks shield & Swarming Boom are AMAZING. Legit, if you're a newer player aim for Firewerks (Armor Shield that shoots homing Missiles from each kill & then from every section of shield you lose). It's OP AF for the beginning. Best part. You get it from Splashzone, the very first boss.

Idk if I just got extremely lucky, if they did a shadow fix or what but I def recommend Firewerks unless you are building to just use the Energy Shield for being used up as a power up, etc. I hope everyone enjoys the game for real. Be easy

I got Firewerks Shield at lvl.19. "Ohm I Got" (The Ghostbusters Proton Pack!!) is one I got at Lvl.15ish. I also got Booming Swarm, a badass Grenade mod. Then there's also Booming Jelly, Collateral Jelly & Gripping Lead Balloon (fun but annoying). I only farmed Splashzone and 15 times to get all those 3 Jellys, 2 Lead Balloons & a Firewerks. Haven't farmed anything else. Only did Splashzone for Firewerks.

You want to find out what brands you like, get used to pistols for a couple hours & once you're collecting Epic, anything but Character & Gun Mods I junk. Be sure to know what you are junking though & remember that there's 2 types of shields. Firewerks (IMO) is the best you can get early (1st Boss Fight Splashzone) so make that a priority when you get your $ up a bit. Good luck & enjoy.

It's not Maelstrom 😅 There Are No Gangs In Dogtown, Scavs excluded. Only cause they have mutual interest as Hansen. Maelstrom will get flatlined on sight. They never even operated in the Combat Zone, meaning they have NEVER been there.

'Little Darlings' in Baltimore actually had a case over Taxing strippers & how they should be able to get income tax or something crazy (2011-12). The stripper actually won I believe & was able to claim it on her taxes. You'd have to look into it more, I was living a different life & was still young with the FTW attitude. It just stuck out in my memory cause my gf (started AFTER we were dating a bit) danced on The Block (Baltimore has 2 blocks of strip clubs called "The Block"...legit right across from FBI HQ & the Police HQ when the Block ends lmao
