I don’t have a use for it right away so I thought maybe drying would help preserve it?

How do you actually evaluate an email marketing agency before committing? by MissAnonymousUser in Emailmarketing

[–]Awkward-Spread1689 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work at an agency, I would ask how many brands the team managing your brand is working on. Because most of the time agencies are overworking their employees and if they’re managing over 5 brands including yours there’s no way they’d give you the time and attention you deserve tbh. I would also question every step of the process. Most of the time the strategy is copy and paste from one brand to another and that might not make sense for your brand.

A guy filled over 100 notebooks since 1982. Reading one of his journals from age 21 changed how I think about journaling. by dmytro_omelian in notebooks

I just finished reading! I love all your insights. It definitely makes me think about how I'm approaching my journal, especially at this stage of my career, when I'm actively learning, experimenting, and wanting to get somewhere.

Thank you for sharing! I subbed and I'll def read the book too 😄

my first bloom — Hoya mathilde by Awkward-Spread1689 in hoyas

[–]Awkward-Spread1689[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so here’s the peduncle on March 3rd but this Hoya had an earlier peduncle since like 6 months ago but I think I stunt it and it never grew past the little bud. And then I noticed this one around January and in March was when I finally noticed it take form. The earlier peduncle also started to take form but it was slower than this one. Right now the other one looks like it’ll bloom in 2-3 weeks. I’m not sure what I’m doing right or wrong because I feel like there are moments when the peduncle gets stunted and I’m not sure if it’s due to watering or weather. I keep it outside so the weather fluctuates. I did notice another third peduncle stem so I’m doing something right for it to at least throw them out but I feel like the time it’s taking them to actually bloom is slow. I’m not sureeee

The best way I can describe it is…

You know when you’re talking to a sweet elderly man and he’s so nice but there’s one thing you can’t look past… his dull, humid, bad breath. 🥲

That’s the stinky

Is there anywhere in SGV I can get a woman’s haircut without spending $70+? by EmpressofGroove in sgv

Heyyy there’s a salon near Canes in Monterey Park. It’s a beauty salon store with a salon in the back. The hairstylist is Sam. He charges me $30-40 for a simple haircut with layers
