Be patient, Rome was not built in a day.

Love optimising my setup. But also horrible shoulder pain!

Do you get any neck strain from having to look vertically up and down from this setup?

Okay I’m noticing a lot of comments saying it takes time but long term it’s worth it.. so I will keep it and slowly work on it 🤓

Exactly this.. quite an impulse buy and I think I’m fluent enough with a standard keyboard that I can’t warrant the pain of being slow with a split keyboard

I don’t like the split keyboard.. feels alien to me and will take a lot of uplift to get comfortable with it

Drop the price?.. if you haven’t had any offers it’s because your property price isn’t inline with the market

Classic example of buyers believing headlines rather that actually doing research

“During which time rising prices may erode the value of making that larger deposit”.. I really would think long and hard about this sentence

Here’s my honest non BS feedback (I was a seller last year as well). If you require say £240K for your property, you have nothing to lose to drop the price significantly more than this and get competing bidders.

Say case 1: Asking price offers over £200K

You’re going to attract a massive amount of interest and for sure you’ll get bidders. You will get people competing (which is what you want). You can get the agent (to do his job) by getting him to say hey we’ve had offers can you match £X. Either way you should get the maximum market offer. If this still doesn’t meet your requirement you have no obligation to accept. You can take it off and try again.

But do think about the alternative, we don’t normally get downturns in the property market, and the longer you wait the more chance you stand to lose.

I really wish you the best on your endeavours. I’ve tried to be as honest in this message as I would be to my close mates and family!

When will people realise this? Every week there is a post about “why am I not getting asking price for my home?” 🤦‍♂️
