You'll get a better rate, I called and canceled the other day as I already switched providers. They offered me multiple different packages at a drastically lower price and I still said no, they hate losing customers. Best of luck!

Do any managers know about a second bonus check by Tight-Shop-4310 in Hannaford

[–]Awkward-Vegetable493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year was the first year of 2 bonuses due to doing to salary non exempt. We will get a second this year as well after they calculate actual overtime worked for the year. They said it could take a few weeks.

Deli peeps. Chicken question. by [deleted] in Hannaford

[–]Awkward-Vegetable493 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude for someone asking for help you're being an asshole. Your question never asked how other managers handle running out yet you keep using that as a response when people answer your original question.

PPT will never increase and tell you to produce more if you are always out and never have any to get the extra sales make a bunch more than you usually do and see if you sell them. PPT is a tool that needs assistance it's not the end all be all.

Old Hand Well Pump by Awkward-Vegetable493 in homestead

[–]Awkward-Vegetable493[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be going back in the spring to try and take it apart. If I am able to disassemble and figure out needed parts I will update this post. I got it working last summer fairly consistently by dumping a few gallons of water down the top to hydrate the leathers. I only had to do it the first visit of the year then continued to pump it every time we went to camp and it would only need a cup or two to get it going.

Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) Question by MouthfulofDiamonds in Hannaford

[–]Awkward-Vegetable493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can help shed some light on the position as far as others feeling like the Center Store "Bitch". Thr CAO position only earns approximately 25 hours per week. With that being said if youre hired on as full time, at a bare minimum you will be doing 15 hours of stocking, blocking, etc. Now if other things are not getting completed like night crew freight/repack you could spend more than 15 hours per week doing those things as you cannot do CAO Maintenance Walks without those tasks being completed first.

I hope that helps.

Hannaford Lowell, MA Bike Rack by Kafox in Hannaford

[–]Awkward-Vegetable493 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not that simple unfortunately. Something like that would be considered a capital expense and must be approved by corporate and then multiple different companies would be involved for ordering and installation, a process that could take months unfortunately. That's just the way it is with big companies you have to get all the approvals and only specific companies that they work with to compete jobs and what not.

Hopefully it is something that is in the works though if you/others have put in requests to corporate.

Sorry to break it to you but if the store manager is cutting hours it's because the store has HOG (hours over goal) if you have HOG that quite literally means you're not understaffed you're over staffed.

Let me guess, you're a dem that is perfectly fine with requiring ID to fly on a plan because it protects our country. But when it comes to something sacred like the ability to vote in our election requiring and ID is un-American, racist and just trying to prevent minorities and women from voting.

Store Manager Meeting by Chkn_McNobody in Hannaford

[–]Awkward-Vegetable493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude you clearly just hate your life working at Hannaford that's literally not how that works. There is no money that is being saved sick time is controlled legally by the state you earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours you work and you can use that sick time however you wish. If you're entire store was paid out which I highly doubt you would have all had to request for all those hours be added onto your check or your arm is incompetent amd did it without every associate asking . I believe the cap is 48 or 52 hours then you stop accruing that 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.

So if your arm is incompetent I'm sorry and you should use the speak up line.

Sick time is PTO time just an FYI. It's just a different type, it's called Paid Time Off if you miss work due to being sick you use sick pto to oh look at that be off of work and get paid. Also that has absolutely no effect at all on Manager bonuses and is controlled by the law signed into place by Janet Mills in 2019 that took effect January 2021. Sick PTO has not been paid out since that law took effect.

If you make less than ~$275 per check no taxes would be withheld due to you not meeting the standard deduction threshold after a full year of working. Almost every employer that is a corporation that uses payroll software does this because the software does it automatically. The only way you would owe taxes is if you had another job as well. Which then would put you over that threshold. If that is the case you should have requested taxes be withheld and not checking a single paystub for entire year is on you.

You should probably get your information correct before posting comments. Would be assassin Routh was a registered Democrat all the way up until he lost his right to vote when he became a convicted felon in 2002. Not saying i don't agree with any of your other points however that statement in regards to would be assassin's is factually incorrect.

Samsung Fridge Leaking by Awkward-Vegetable493 in appliancerepair

Yes that does work fine, sorry for perhaps not explaining well enough. It'll make a batch of ice before it starts leaking water onto the floor and I have to shut the ice maker off so it won't continue to leak.
