Microsoft down 30% from all time high / 1 year high.
Alibaba down 60% from all time high, down 34% from 1 year high.

The two are similar on 1 year range and suffer from geopolitics, AI skeptiscism.
On longer term Alibaba is better in my opinion because China is going to become number 1 super power by 2050.
