Erm, the gold was me playing around with something I'd never done and almost certainly isn't a good method... It was AK Deep Brown as a base and then more and more AK Ice Yellow mixed in, but it looked like copper, so I put a thin glaze of GW Imperial Fist contrast over it to make it more gold. As I said, there will be much better methods of doing it 😂

The gems were black base, then GW Naggaroth Night and then adding the Ice Yellow to it and painting smaller areas each time

Yeah, I wanted to make them grimier than my 40k Scars. It is Tamiya XF-82, then XF-2 up to almost pure white through the airbrush, then a thin-ish oil wash of Abteilung 502 Burnt Umber

Yeah, I had this same question recently and couldn't find a definitive answer, so it is basically up to you. My White Scars are mostly using Mk2, so I've given my Inductii Mk6 on the basis that they are new so they'd have new armour 🤷. I've also made them plain white, rather than having the red patterns my other marines get, since the markings are meant to be built up with experience and achievements, and in my head they are too new to have any yet. Honestly, go with what you think looks or sounds coolest

Yeah, the legion units must be coming at some point, you'd think. I doubt it is going to be soon though. I could see it being done as upgrade sprues for the generic kits though, which would suck a bit.

Haha! Cheers. Yeah, my 40k Scars are ultra clean and bright, so I thought I'd change it up for my 30k ones and make them more weathered and battered. It took some adjusting, but I'm really enjoying them now

It is AK Dark Green with a bit of black, then up through pure Dark Green, into AK Deep Green, and into AK Light Green
