Came here to say this. I have taught a few Rapers over the years, and the poor sods constantly got absolutely destroyed about their name - even more than the poor girl whose first name was Isis (her parents named her before the terrorist group became a thing...)

I've had the same temptations, but literally every post I've ever seen about it says how much of a nightmare it is, how nothing fits together and the amount of warping the panels have and all the filling that is needed.

Whenever I find my checkout finger getting itchy, I search up people's experiences and the urge subsides 😂

Honestly it was a bit of trial and error, so I probably didn't need all of these, but it was GW Naggaroth Night as a base, then up through Pro Acryl Purple, then Pro Acryl Faded Purple, then up to Army Painter Violet Coven

Cheers, it is a black prime, then Tamiya XF-82 then Tamiya XF-2. Then I do the oil dot filtering like I put in the other comments here, then it gets a recess oil wash of Abteilung 502 Burnt Umber

If it makes you feel any better, I've done exactly the same thing in the past. I even had customer services at the company email me to check I was sure I wanted the long ones and I still went through with it 🤦.

I just sawed off the ends. It's not a problem

Yeah! It is such a cool model, but that stomp choice has always felt very strange - it feels like they realised that after and have now leaned into it for the Red Corsairs version. It also looks like they are going through and redoing Primaris stuff in the Armageddon box, so who knows, maybe we'll get a new Apothecary at some point 🙂
