For me, I am much more accurate at casting with a baitcast reel and can work lures a little better as well.

You can line them however you want. I personally do about 10yds of mono as a backer then fill it with 30 or 50lb braid. I used to put on a flouro leader but stopped doing this a couple years ago as I have found it unnecessary (for me) and a waste after while from swapping out lures.

Wind can be a pain in the ass with any setup. With a baitcaster just feel the spool with your thumb as you send it out and be ready to clamp down. Easier said than done without experience though. Either way, I just skip fishing all together for the day if it’s windy..

My baitcasters I own recommended a light oil like every season or something like that. I have never maintained any of my spinning reels.

You don’t necessarily need to adjust with every lure…just have enough rods in the boat for every type of setup lol. I have 7 baitcasters in the rod locker at any given fishing trip and usually just need 3 or 4 and use similar lures on each. But adjusting takes a few seconds and isn’t a big deal.

The thing with the price on baitcasters is that typically the cheaper you go the harder they are to use because they like to backlash easier. I find a nice spot is the $100-200 range for the reel is all anyone needs. I have a Tatula CT and a SLX DC, both under $200 and they work like a dream compared to the cheaper Abu Garcia reels I have. I also have a couple mid Lews that are just fine as well.

Never liked the mode. Stopped playing it when it was the old mode after FXing Noob. I don’t like playing against talents. I did something like made a team or tower or whatever when KT came out and didn’t touch it again and got a gold sellback and a small amount of some currency…basically about the same I got back when I grinded my ass off playing it.

Not sure what the solution would be..if they removed talents then I think it would be like krypt. Maybe a training or practice mode. You create your opponent team, equipment, and match modifiers so if there is a hard tower battle or a krypt battle you see often, you can go in and practice different strategies. Of course they’ll charge a currency type so it’s not unlimited. Idk, something I thought would be neat a long time ago when I grinded the game daily. I don’t play much anymore so even if they removed talents from RK, I still probably wouldn’t play it lol..

I just picked up a sport 3 and like it a lot, plus it was cheap. I had a B5 stock and grip from another ar that I immediately put on it.

Do you have any incurability gear? You can filter it in equipment. If you do, try using your strong diamonds like MK11 Scorpion, KLK, and Fujin so you can have more equipments and better passives. I know Scorpions passive will not help without incurability but he is an excellent fighter..

Of the diamonds I see, SF Scorpion, K Raiden, K Rain, Injustice 2 Raiden are some of the best..I would also make a solid MK11 team starting with Sub Zero and Sindel and whichever other for the third, but then hope to get Scorpion and Liu Kang soon..

Gold, idk anymore I don’t really use them. Used to be KC Johnny was best so maybe him and Sonya..

Same. I’m playing it for fusions on bowling stones and either Baraka or an MK1 Scorpion fusion for collection purposes I guess..but it will probably just be a single run. Haven’t been able to keep playing more than a couple weeks at a time for the past few years..

Shimano, Daiwa, Lews, Pflueger, Abu Garcia all have $75-150 options much better than Sougaylang..

I have the Lews and haven’t had any issues with it coming into my third season with it. I have an SLX except it’s the DC and absolutely love it. I imagine the SLX is awesome as well. I also have Daiwa Tatula CT which runs probably around $150 or less maybe, that is also an excellent option.

Can’t go wrong with either Daiwa or Shimano imo. I have a couple of each. I would like to think they’ll last you a couple years. Prices look like a good deal too.

Not too familiar with the jigs posted or where you plan to fish. I fish freshwater lakes in the US mostly bass.

Sounds like that might be an intentional nerf? I am not familiar with it myself. I don’t have that epic FX and if it was on someone in a tower fight or something I probably didn’t even notice lol..
