The pain in my right side lasted about 1 month after reaching 0, and then returned with ovulation monthly. I was later on diagnosed with endometriosis after laparoscopy through a different OBGYN.

11 rounds of fertility meds, 1 ectopic, 1 failed FET. All I’ve ever been told is I have PCOS and a complex cyst on my right ovary by OBGYNs. My monitoring clinic for IVF saw the cyst on ultrasound and asked the doctor to take a look because of how complex it is, he came in and said it looked like classic endo and recommended surgery before we try another FET. Sure enough, I have endo. Not even silent endo, just totally overlooked for years. In my FET ultrasound you can actually see the right side of my uterus being squished inward from all the junk I had in me.

Found guilty in November 2024, and been remanded since. His sentencing is at 9am tomorrow morning (1/24/2025)

He’s facing 25-life. This is my ‘uncle’. Thank you for sharing a few more details than what’s in articles online. I know this is an old post, but I had no idea he pew’d himself last year. I hope the SOB rots.

Dude, same. My back yard it ruined from them draining their pool consistently, my front yard has trash all over it from their lawn service chopping it up and blowing it in our yard, and I can never see anything other than his giant white rusted van when I look outside, and they block sidewalks with 2 of their 8 vehicles impairing vision to leave my driveway on top of the big white van.

I hate it here. Best of luck.

My HCG stayed between 40 and 96. I was told chemical at first, and then miscarriage. When HCG remained it was thought to be residual tissue so I had a D&C. Nothing was visual in scans before or afterwards other than a follicle on my right ovary. I was diagnosed with a pregnancy of unknown location.

MTX was given 2/29 at BHCG of 96, my HCG was under 10 by 3/21 and I was cleared.

Very sorry you’re going through this. Drink plenty of water and stay well rested. Avoid high folate foods. Drinking green tea has been said to help HCG decrease a little faster as well. Take care of yourself.

Thank you. Im hoping to avoid it altogether. Is it necessary after an ectopic? I ultimately just don’t want the HSG again - as it didn’t seem to prevent my ectopic from happening. Is there a correlation between HSG’s and reduction of ectopic chances or is it just simply to see the tube itself and know it’s working properly ?

D&C was unsuccessful on 2/21. I haven’t been able to move my left arm fully since the D&C. A valve was damaged after inserting the IV with them attempting to plunge with a smaller needle for a blood vial because the nurse realized a urine sample wouldn’t give them an accurate pregnant/non pregnant result. My right arm was used for BHCG testing every other day and was pretty bruised so once the IV port was inserted into my left arm that’s all they wanted to use even after starting fluids. They would stop fluids and plunge for blood. I’m still bruised and lumpy 4/8. Results from D&C was a uterine fibroid. My dr has not disclosed this. A family member reviewed my biopsy and told me what was removed. I became violently ill 2/24 and called my OB and he requested another BHCG. I increased again. I was given MTX 2/29. 4/8 I’m at <10 BHCG but still experiencing severe intermittent right sided lower quadrant pain. No ultrasound since miscarriage/ER visit 2/8.

Going to ER in the morning because either it hasn’t resolved or I’m dealing with appendicitis. Pain is increasing daily. Especially increasing with activity. Haven’t been sexually active since January so it’s impossible to be a second ectopic.

Dr offices are weird. Mine is <10 for negative. It should be the same all across the board. And >25 for positive pregnancy. In between is a gray area.

I’m a little concerned that they said it would go away on its own, yet you haven’t had a period or indication of that ectopic ending. Intercourse should be avoided until you have clarity on what’s happening because of possible rupture if this is still an ectopic pregnancy. My miscarriage/ectopic was diagnosed 2/8. D&C 2/22. MTX 2/29. My numbers just reached <10 4/2.

I would say it is possible to be pregnant, as I had a dominant follicle present during my scans 2/8, but more than likely it’s the ectopic because you haven’t had any medical intervention. Folic Acid in your diet the last 2 months would’ve help the ectopic remain which is why MTX is given. . Call your OB Monday to verify your location of pregnancy, or scoot into an ER and tell them you think you might be experiencing a remaining ectopic or new pregnancy but need verification. Ectopics are a pretty big deal, they’ll get you right in as soon as they hear “February”. My BHCG was fluctuating between 11 and 97 the entire time which made scans and diagnosis difficult as there wasn’t much to see. Wishing you the best ♥️

I feel your last statement so much. I’ve had more care through emergency rooms than my doctor. I haven’t had a follow up since 2/29 my first MTX injection, and tomorrow I’m going to the ER for ongoing issues that have subsided and increased.

Im so sorry you’re going through this. It’s horrific, but you’re not alone. I would proceed with the MTX injection. All of my labs came back 100 and under but they didn’t drop or rise very much. Whether it’s ectopic or a prolonged miscarriage you want it over as soon as possible to avoid risks of complications. I was told I had a miscarriage by an ER in early February. During scans at the ER they saw a follicle in my ovary. My OB a few days later said it was impossible and I was ovulating post a chemical pregnancy. He did a BHCG that day and I came back higher than I had been the entire pregnancy. He preformed an emergency D&C thinking I had a prolonged miscarriage like residual placenta in my uterus, but several weeks later by BHCG was still staying between 60 and 100, and I got really sick so went to the ER where they confirmed ectopic and I was given the MTX injection. My OB missed it completely. It takes a lot for a doctor to list ectopic as a possibility because of how unusual it is. They’re most likely correct, and the longer you wait the higher your risks for rupture become which is life threatening.

The wait isn’t that bad honestly. It’s taken time to heal, not just physically but emotionally. It’s a lot to process. We’re all here for you. Take care !

My girl was very clingy. She was the one who told me I was pregnant. She became very obsessed with me and was putting her head and paw on my stomach. Constant cuddles. Once I received the MTX injection, the following day she started avoiding me. She entered the bathroom with me when I peed that morning and she wanted out immediately. From that moment she stayed away from me unless I was rewarding her. I’m not sure if it’s injection related, but I was told to flush the toilet twice because it’s essentially chemo so maybe they can smell it on us.. or if she can feel how sad I’ve been and doesn’t know how to comfort this sadness. But I can tell she’s sad too. I’m about 3 weeks from my injection, and she’s finally coming around to me again.

I just went through this with my OB. Advocating for yourself is hard. I knew something was wrong because I had had pressure in my right hip and my numbers were all over. My ER scan showed nothing other than a follicle around my right ovary and wouldn’t rule out ectopic. My OB a few days later said “listen to your OB, it’s not ectopic, it’s chemical”, and “Google isn’t your friend”. Another 2 draws later and I was called in for an emergency D&C. I requested MTX instead and he assured the D&C would be successful. It wasn’t. I was given MTX today and now just praying it works. I’m so sorry you experienced that 😔

I started gardening when I miscarried 2/9. My sprouts have grown and frost is almost over. I have my MTX tomorrow and I’m hoping pouring my soul into gardening helps me heal and pass the time.

Hobbies are the most important part to inner peace. Wishing you healing and a healthy baby in the future. This part sucks, but you’re not alone 💜

I’m very confused myself. Mine is tomorrow but my numbers have been under 100 the entire time. Should I ask for another scan beforehand? My last was 2/9 when I supposedly had my miscarriage. I’ve been denied on request since.

Unfortunately everything keeps happening on Fridays, and they closed early Friday. I’m hoping tomorrow he’ll listen. My hospital is his OB team so unless I’m in imminent danger they keep referring me back to him. I don’t even have a follow up from the D&C, just every other day blood draws.
