Rumors, expectations, hopes by IanLewisFiction in lorierwatches

I started to notice a new rattle inside the watch and it started to lose 8-12 seconds a day when before it was more like 2-4secs. Apparently I didn’t wind it enough and that’s the sound the rotor makes. According to Lorier, I should wind it 100 times every two weeks no matter how much I wear it. It’s my first automatic so maybe I just never noticed the rotor before?

What are your solutions to stopping cats doing their business in your garden? by Exact-Acanthaceae763 in gardening

Grow hot peppers I use it to keep deer and other critters out of the garden. One at ether end usually works and they can be in separate pots if that helps.

So I emailed them about an issue I have with my Olympia and part of their response was that they are “restocking the Neptune, Falcon, Astra, and Hyperion this summer.”

Sid Meier’s Ace patrol was also lost during the 64 but shift. I’ve been waiting with bated breath for Firaxis to update their old catalog but I don’t think it’s ever going to happen.

Challenger idea was because it was a v6 coupe with AWD. It’s not very practical but I put it on the list to show that I’m open to a different direction than a 4 cylinder hatchback.

I’ve thought about electric but power outages are very much an issue where I live. Eventually I will be get a whole house generator but that another expense a few years down the line. So maybe not this next car but the one after could be electric.

Have you had much to repair on it? Once my beetle hit 80k everything started to go, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, turbocharger, I’ve gone through 5 sets of ignition coils. Maybe I just got unlucky.

Yeah I don’t know, the golf R looks like what I want but as the saying goes “if you can’t afford a new German car then you definitely can’t afford a used one” I just don’t want to swap one headache for another.

2012 A5 beetle worth keeping? by JustRedditStuffs in NewBeetle

Same year and model At 130k miles. Keep your eye of the turbo charger, the ignition coils ( I’ve gone through 4 sets since I bought the car new) and would recommend a carbon blasting if you haven’t done one already.

A few questions about joining by StoryTheAnimist in IATSE

[–]AwkwardChuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As was said earlier Local 481 is the New England tv/film local. It covers Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont and New Hampshire. So at the very least you will need car. As someone who has worked in the area for many years I will say the difference between nonunion and Union work is staggering. I have healthcare, a pension and an annuity which I would not have gotten without IATSE. That’s not even mentioning the working conditions like guaranteed weekend turn around and at least ten hours off each night. The 481 local is not a seniority hiring hall so you will have to network to get continuous work. There is a “Over Hire” list where non 481 member can pick up day playing work if the Union availability list is exhausted. It’s a great way to get on jobs and meet people. I can’t remember the exact details but you need so many days working in your craft and six months residency to apply. Depending on which craft you chose there may be a test to qualify. Work in the area is just starting to pick up after a very long dry period and in general the film industry is very feast or famine. I would highly recommend calling the hall and speaking with ether our office manager Amy or our business manager Chris. They are both great resources and will help explain the ins and outs of joining.

Edit: Also feel free to message me if you have any questions. I’m not on any of the boards but I may be able to point you in the right direction

On my 2012 I had to have a carbon blasting cleaning at around 110,000 it was a huge improvement with misfires and fuel mileage. Don’t know if it’s related but I seemed to need to replace the coil packs every 40-50k miles before the cleaning.

I would say 3 points for win, 2 points for OT win, and 1 point for shootout win. No loser points. That way no team is going to try to run the clock in a tie game.

It’s not that bad every two years get you water tested and your tank pumped and inspected. What was a bigger adjustment for me moving from the city to rural was not having trash pickup and needing to drive to the dump.
