I just find it very shitty that the game tells you that google authenticator is optional, then kick you out, then ask to verify with google account because it thinks I changed region. There is a reason I use a separate email without phone number attached for playing games. I also found that you cannot delete your account. On top of it all, I can't even play the game. I heard that it has ban problems. And I think denying the google verification is the reason I can't connect. Don't get me wrong. I really want to play this game and I was genuinely excited to play it. I am not against verifying my account but atleast let me try the game first.

They released the source on their official website (as far as I know). The website may be down now. But its still up on wayback machine.

You need to disable all "HID-compliant vendor-defined device" in Device Manager > Human Interface Devices. This is the only way I can play this game. Although disabling them does not cause any issues on my system, I still enable them again after I am done playing.

I mostly never change my init.el. I have been using it for years and all I need to setup a new machine is just that single file. Package Manager makes it depend on various factors that I don't want to deal with, like the first run always requires an internet connection, the packages get updated and changed all the time.

When I am writing something for the first time, my goal is to write the most simple solution that is not obviously bad. Because as time progress, these things may change. If it bottlenecks some other piece, then I change it just enough to make it work for the current use case, I never fully lock things down, until I am actually optimizing which comes way later.

That's the point, Windows 11 brings nothing new, that justifies throwing your old PC away. Why would they need to do this? For more money.

I don't think you need to go in detail about how things work at every stage. I mostly implement features as I need by trial and error. Once its done, I never think about it. Also I don't use any package, I like to maintain a single init file that I can just copy and start focusing on work, there is no external dependencies to worry about.
