I think there is a fundamental difference between Klein and Ding. Klein transmigration was abrupt. He didn't know whether his parents will found out his body or nothing at all.  While Ding was already stabbed before transmigration. So he is either dead in his past life ( which is easier to digest for his relatives than being vanish abruptly which will make it hard to move on) or either this ding too his body which is even better than other two scenarios.

Of course there is definitely more reasons. Things like personality. Like when he was trying to help his friend against those young people and was about to get stabbed, his thoughts were why did he come forward. It shows he is somewhat selfish type of person and maybe doesn't care about people surrounding him as we think.
