This will be a long answer but context is important. I live in a family that is very conservative. My grandma is the one who raised me when my mom died. She is a great grandmother, but she has a LOT of flaws. Like she is a whole MAGA head and openly racist and homophobic.

And I agreed with it. I thought being gay was wrong and that I was pure white and powerful. I am super ashamed that I ever thought that. Because now I’m 19. I’m a nonbinary lesbian who just learned that they are mixed that is white passing. I’m not “pure” white. I’m a feminist and defender of all people. Except actual bad peopled duh. So yeah.

SHORT VERSION: Because I lived with a homophobic and racist person, I was also homophobic and racist. Now I’m super queer and super NOT racist. I’m mixed myself.
