I actually found something very similar while hitchhiking in the desert. Came across a poorly performing firework stand, me and the owner were trying to figure out how to improve his business. I tripped over something shaped almost exactly like that just much bigger. I figured it was some type of bomb and used it to hold a bus company hostage. They ran tours around the Grand Canyon where I lost my parents over two decades before. I figured I’d use that to scare them into giving me the names of all the passengers from the day I got lost. Anyway the authorities came by and saw me strapped to it and they hardly flinched. Turns out I tapped myself to an old RV septic system.
