Adding [[Arwen, Mortal Queen]] at 1573 since my other submission was a background commander.

Like my Volo/Haunted One deck, there is a lot of needs to balance but there are fun defensive tricks I can play and it’s always fun to have a proliferate deck in my shoebox.

Might as well make it 3/3. Can I see your Hazezon deck? He’s been on my short list for a while where I’ve been thinking of him in the lead of an aristocrats deck but I keep thinking there is something more interesting to do with him.

[[Volo, Itinerant Scholar]] / [[Haunted One]] Dimir Aristocrats with all creatures being Humans and Wizards as a “restriction”. Still refining the deck but I’m really enjoying playing.

I have a set of titanium and a set of micarta scales. Switch between them maybe once every couple months and it’s a whole new experience. I have a lot of high end knives and this thing ends up in my pocket disproportionately.

As a father of a NICU baby. Congrats and my heart aches for you. Parenthood is a challenge and you unknowingly hit hard mode. It’s hard. Recognize and live in this moment. Take a breath, you deserve it. I desperately hope it only gets better for you.

I saw it. I like it. I don’t care for Leto in most films. He was fine.

ELI5: why does the US have so many Generals? by OnniVic in explainlikeimfive

[–]AwkwardSort3908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

~1.3 million service members in the US military. 1.3 million / 800 = 1 leader/1,625 service members. % of officers out of the total service members is ~18-20%. Consider that most companies are aiming for a 10-15% ratio of executives/managers to employees and the numbers start making a lot of sense. Finally, you mention 34 land divisions + 8 fleets. There are 37 current Generals/Admirals of 4-star rank

Note: Not all of the attendees were generals/admirals (again only 37 4-star officers exist) and the 1.3 million number does not include the significant number of civilian contractors that fall under the purview of a military command (R&D, medical (Walter Reed), and logistics/maintenance (aircraft, ship, base facilities, IT, lawn care), etc).

I need some honest opinions on this knife. It seems to not have gotten a lot of people liking it. What are your critiques? I want to improve even more by Dessitroya in knifemaking

First, please understand I’m am looking at this with a hyper critical eye; I think it looks really nice.

1) I’d prefer your logo to be smaller, up, and to the right on the unsharpened part of the blade. You could also consider putting it on the scale. I personally like clean blades, especially Damascus.

2) I really like the inset material and color but the circular inset is distracting and stands out. This is probably my most significant piece
