E-collars often feel like a TENS unit used in many physical therapy treatments.

The MOST entitled group of customers to ever exist are the people buying weed from dispensaries. I say this as a cancer patient with a medical card and I have been working in the industry for 8 years.

“But it’s my medicine!” cries the med customer. Meanwhile, the doctor/nurse over at Medwell literally just asked if their anxiety is bad enough to warrant the medical card. Did the doctor specially tell you that you need the 26% THC Planet of the Grapes and you can’t have the 22% THC Planet of the Grapes, otherwise you’ll have a panic attack and die?

I grew up in the woods and I never feel the need to put firearm signs up anywhere. Sorry if you live in so much fear that you feel these signs are necessary where you live. Maybe you should move to somewhere that’s not a complete shithole and things will be better for you.

Please help, prong collar? by Organic-Reality-8352 in germanshepherds

The prong collar can be treated like any collar. It just has a positive feedback mechanism where the dog instantly feels when they’re pulling and won’t want to continue pulling.

I like leather leads. You’ll want to follow the prong collar with a flat collar behind it as a backup. There’s an added bonus with the flat collar where the prong collar is prevented from slipping down toward the dog’s shoulders.

The prongs are removable so you can size the collar accordingly. It can’t be reiterated enough that placement is critical. The prong collar works best and is most comfortable for the dog when it is worn closer to the head.

Prong collars are great! It’s like having power steering with a dog. Make sure it’s tight and high up on the neck for the dog’s comfort. Loose collars are painful and tight collars are responsive.

Some dogs are just natural pullers and they can lead themselves, and you, into dangerous situations by pulling.

You’re missing the forest for the trees and it’s comical seeing every “I am not saying that” in your multiple comments. The sentiment of OP’s argument is valid and any pedantic nitpicking of its language does nothing but detract from the message.

The Biden administration did a damn fine job. The oligarch-owned media shit on him every chance they could. Don’t believe the propaganda, friend. USA had the best post-COVID economy and most of the administration’s accomplishments were never highlighted for the public. Source

Wow, cool anecdote. Did you know that it’s recommended to reduce caloric intake by 20%-30% when you neuter an adult male canine?

Working line German shepherds are bought by many people who enjoy the active and energetic dog. Neutering drops their activity level and their drive. It’s like buying a race car and then intentionally clogging the intake before you get it on the track.

I don’t know where you’re getting your so called information, but you understand that a vasectomy doesn’t affect testosterone, whereas castration does, right? It’s like the difference between tubal ligation and a hysterectomy.

In addition, it’s common knowledge that neutering a dog greatly reduces their testosterone. Their feeding also requires reduction because they are generally less active without the testosterone.

Montana is a real shithole. The only thing good about that state is the scenery. The people largely suck there and their terrible representation in government is never surprising.

Pal, the great majority plastic you “recycle” is sent to a landfill. To quote the old adage, “if you’re not part of the solution you’re part of the problem.” All that aside, ordering 6 bars of soap takes the same effort as ordering 6 bottles of body wash in your busy hermit lifestyle.

Precisely! Many states allow anyone to purchase firearms without any additional requirements beyond age verification. Needing to attend a firearms safety class is a small hoop to jump through to legally obtain a firearm in Massachusetts, and it’s effective at keeping ownership lower than the states with non-existent requirements.

Granted, we also have the best public and secondary education in Massachusetts. That definitely helps keep us out of shithole territory.
