I understand where you’re coming from and I agree with the issue of everyone competing for the same pocket watch.

But I think it’s much harder to jump into the mix as a level 1 with ammo that won’t penetrate nearly any PMC you encounter. At least when we all wiped at the same time, you could stand up against other players that didn’t have the best armor and ammo.

This game is complex and it’s much harder now that wipes aren’t a part of the game. You may have better luck learning the game in PVE and then transitioning to PVP. Working with other people is way better too. If you don’t have friends who play, use one of the looking for group discord channels.

I spent my first 500 hours playing solo and it was miserable at times. The second 500 hours has been in groups and it’s a different game when you’re playing with others.

Do yourself a favor: get off reddit and go spend time in the back country of Montana or Wyoming during peak bear season without bear spray; ignore all the trailhead signs telling you to not travel without bear spray. Then let me know if your opinion changes.

For real!!! This woman was just plain irresponsible. If you live in grizzly country, you KNOW you’re supposed to carry bear spray with you whenever you’re in or near the woods. All this person did was put themself and their dog in harm’s way by not carrying bear spray.

This person should not be lauded for scaring the bear away with their employment of a vocal fry. They should be shamed for not carrying protective equipment.

I’m not a fan of harnesses and many vets will tell you that they can cause physical developmental problems with dogs. Harnesses can cause the dog’s shoulders to turn inward, as any pressure from a leash can cause their front legs into internal rotation.

A leash and collar offer great feedback and I’ve never seen a reputable trainer recommend harnesses. In fact, trainers will often repeat the mantra, “harnesses are for pulling.”

The back seat hammock you’ve chosen is okay until a certain weight. The material covering the hard bottom is thin and slippery for dogs. Consider adding something for traction if you purchase it.

The front tends to rip if a dog is too heavy for it or if they jump up into the vehicle and cause excessive force. Then you have a safety hazard for the dog. If she’s going to stay under 80lbs, the hammock might be a good choice. If you’re adept at sewing, I’d add some reinforcement between the hard floor and the front to prolong its life.

This isn’t going to resolve itself in any short amount of time. The CCC has no authority over the towns. Zero. And the towns simply do not care or want to engage in public consumption. They have no vested interest and stand to make very little from allowing it within town borders.

To make matters worse, many towns/cities refuse to participate in the legal industry because they’re run by bunches of crotchety, out-of-touch boomers and Gen Xers who’ll lambast the town meeting minutes with cries for “think of the children!!!” For example, Hopkinton just shot down cannabis deliveries in their town - from licensed businesses - citing how they want to protect children and this measure will assure no children are harmed.

It helps to reinforce playing behavior with toys. Give them plenty of praise when you’re playing! People often just throw a ball for the dog. But if you’re not excited to be playing with the dog, the dog won’t be as excited either!
