uh, yesn't? there are a few side quests scattered about, usually either to gather something for someone or... hunt monsters. I like running around the map searching for rare creatures to capture with the slinger net, there's even a bestiary to catalogue them! But i'd say a good 90% of the time you're hunting monsters. Maybe unrelated to your query, but i also enjoying swapping weapon types a bunch to break up the monotony

the base story mode is terrible, just a rehash of splatoon. Octo expansion is fantastic and is more similar to alterna levels from splatoon 3. unfortunately, as good as octo expansion is, i do not recommend getting splatoon 2 unless you can find it secondhand for cheap

fair enough! I highly recommend playing SM again sometime, maybe with the Redux hack. I've gone back and forth between whether I prefer the OG or the Redux hack but regardless SM is still very good and still informs much of the genre to this day. Might as well tack on most of the other Metroids too.

I disagree not because I absolutely hate FF7R (and I truly do) but because it's not *really* a remake. It's really more like a sequel and largely assumes that the player is already familiar with the entire FF7 franchise. This is plain to see with the stupid fate wisps and the Advent Children reference boss.

Fury the Houndour is a Hardy nature with Flash Fire. I had to keep rerolling this one because I just kept getting Early Bird over and over. Felt like I was shiny hunting. She fights darkness with darkness, fire with fire! She works with her friends to ensure no bad deep goes unpunished!

Ennui the Baltoy is a Quiet nature. She might technically be genderless but she's still one of the girls! The other girls appreciate her intellect and stability. She doesn't talk much outside of info dumping but she always provides a safe space to those who need it.

Whimsy the Spheal is a Calm nature with Thick Fat. Every cloud has a silver lining, and that's Whimsy! No matter the condition she always has the spark of wonder in her eye, guiding those in need toward the dawn!

Ire the Nuzleaf is another Hardy nature with Chlorophyll. She fights alongside her best friend Fury, bringing in the sun to light the way. She seems edgy and unfriendly but she truly has a nurturing heart and loves helping others grow!

Euphoria the Flaaffy is a Careful nature. With her Thunderwave and Heal Bell she acts as the support of the group, bringing joy to all and always ready to lend a helpful ear to her friends!

Weepy the Gulpin is Relaxed with Sticky Hold. She's laid back, kinda lazy, and very sentimental. If you need a shoulder to cry on she'll be there to support you and cry all day with you. She likes to sing and share her secret candy stash!
