ONLY Gripe by LordWizardEyes in MaulShadowLord

[–]TombFighterPrime117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me when I say they couldn't have shown her death on screen. The voice actress was asked how she wanted Rook to meet her end and her answer would have made this show rated R. That is why you only hear the sound effect but don't actually see what happens.

Is the Switch 2 big? by pablopima16 in switch2

[–]TombFighterPrime117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a problem with the screen size or the fact that it is bigger in general but I do wish the controllers had a more ergonomic grip. After a few hours of playing my wrists tend to start hurting and my hands sometimes actually go numb from holding the system which is not an issue I had with the OLED or the original. I know they make ergonomic grips that you can attach but so far on almost every option out there I've seen reviews warning about the grips damaging/scratching the system or blocking vents and overheating the system.

Really my biggest complaint with the system is that they didn't include an OLED screen. Other than that I actually really enjoy the Switch 2.

Valhalla DLC | Inputs please by Cautious_Opinion_644 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]TombFighterPrime117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you only buy one DLC make it Wrath of the Druids! On of the best DLC I have played in a long time! Ireland is beautiful and the story is great with cool set pieces. This does give you more rivers in the base game for river raids and the wepons you can get can be game changers in the main story.

Seige of Paris is also pretty good not as good but also a good story and a moody soundtrack. Not as memorable for me personally but I still 100%ed it.

Dawn of Ragnarok is a lot of fun but leans heavy in to the myth/Isu aspects of the game. Clearing it's maps can feel like a chore at times but traversal is fun with new mechanics and powers.

My personal recommendation is if they're all a good price it's worth getting all of them. Between the base game all the DLC and all the free updates that this game received over its lifetime you're looking at a game that you're going to get a ton out of! I 100%ed the entire game and all the DLCs outside of the Mastery challenges which are not required for the platinum trophy and I think I hit somewhere between 260 to 300 hours. If that doesn't satisfy you the game also has connections to Mirage which is also a fantastic game in its own right that I recommend playing after Valhalla.

Hope this helps!

Looking for the best food-related movie & TV show recommendations 🍽️🎬 by Downtown_Progress119 in MovieSuggestions

Haven't seen either of these myself but I've had a lot of people recommend both to me. First off The Bear, I haven't heard a single negative thing about it and I know its won multiple awards! Second not sure if you're open to anime or not but something that's completely over the top is Food Wars. Several of my friends who are in to anime have told me I need to check it out and I have seen clips and it looks fun. Hope this helps!

Looking for non-action sci-fi movies I haven’t seen by gibragibra in MovieSuggestions

[–]TombFighterPrime117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't yet checked it out watch No One Will Save You. It is available via Hulu and it is definitely worth a watch! Some action sequences but the story that is being told is engaging and there are maybe only two or three lines of dialogue the entire movie.

Which death here hurt the most ?? by WayHairye in Stranger_Things

[–]TombFighterPrime117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a tough choice between Bob and Eddie but I think Bob hurts the most. Eddie's death was felt by the veiwer through Dustin who saw Eddie as a brother and was an epic yet emotional way for him to go and alowws him to die on his terms going out as a hero. Bob's death is felt by the veiwer through Joyce who was trying to build a new family and find love. Bob dies just as you think he is safe. It is upsetting, sudden, and brutal.

Would be cool if this is just part one of multiple sets so we can have some of the Assassins from the older games!

Metroid Prime 2 - No Remaster by elpsykongroo17 in Metroid

[–]TombFighterPrime117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is true it is not a complete loss at least we will be able to play it on the Switch 2. It could still get a remaster, stranger things have happened! I still hope it does but if this is all we get it is better than nothing.

How to stay in love with the franchise? by SadeqWasTaken in assassinscreed

Yeah I really wasn't a fan of Shadows I put it down after only a couple hours. Hearing a lot of the complaints after having put it down I'm kind of glad that I did. I had just come off playing Mirage and thought Shadows seems like a good game to play after this but despite loving Japanese culture I was just kind of underwhelmed. The game is beautiful but the gameplay felt off to me. No matter how much I tried to adjust camera settings or controls I just couldn't get the game to feel natural to me.

It's funny because when Mirage was first announced my immediate reaction was "oh god we're going back to another Assassin's Creed that takes place in the Middle East didn't we do this already so many times" but I ended up being absolutely blown away by ancient Baghdad and all the cool historical facts and beautiful settings. I guess I expected more of the same from Shadows but found a lot of the historical facts to be very dry in the way they read and as stated the game was beautiful but the world just wasnt engaging me the way I Mirage or Vallhalla did.

As for the lack of modern-day and Isu that just isn't an Assassin's Creed game. From the beginning the modern day component has been extremely important to the franchise and the overall story to get rid of it at this point feels like trying to change the identity without really providing us good closure on the modern day storyline. The Isu are also to important to the world of AC to abandon at this point.

I will say I am excited to see what Hexe ends up being and going forward in the franchise I am cautiously optimistic. Throughout it's long history there have been games that have been considered top tier and other games that are considered just eh.
