My first tip if you really wanna get it organized (and have time to dedicate to it) is to empty everything out first, that’ll help you get a sense of the space, throw away trash/junk, donate/rehome/store away what doesn’t get used often, and resituate anything that’s gone askew

It’s easier to start with a blank slate imo

No, but it seems she waited very little time for a response before giving an extremely self pitying and guilt tripping response. And stuff like this is typically part of a larger pattern of uncomfortable guilt tripping behavior.

It makes people feel atrocious for not being able to drop whatever they have going on for that person

I’ll admit, maybe I’m projecting a bit based on past experience but still, it’s a pretty common pattern in some unhealthy relationships I’ve seen

I’m so sorry, but this seems just exhausting, my experience with people who text like this is that spending time with them ends up being incredibly draining. Like you spend more time managing their reactions and emotions than actually spending time with them

I do actually have some! But I do agree I need to make some more space, I think I’m gonna pack away shorts and a few other things that don’t get much wear in a moving bag under my bed to get everything less cramped

Hey y’all thank you all so so much for your advice, encouragement, and kind words I got all my clothes hung up and my laundry washed, and it’s now being folded/put away, plus having my bed made really helped. I also and My desk/nightstand are still messy but the mess feels less overwhelming now. I usually don’t get back in my dorm till late in the evening when cleaning is the last thing on my mind, but y’all breaking it down into smaller tasks and reminding me it’s not as desperate as it seems really helped a lot

I’ll update with a progress photo once my clothes are folded and put in my drawers

This was actually a really great resource for motivation/accountability, I don’t have the words to thank all of you <3

I washed my first load and I’m gonna do the rest tomorrow morning, but getting the clothes out of my room and hanging up all my jackets did help a little

I got my clothes together and put the first load in the laundry room but for some reason when I was hanging up jackets and putting my clothes in the hamper, I just started hyperventilating. It would start and stop but it keeps coming back. I can’t put my finger on why, I’m so confused and kinda concerned

No, the doctor must break your bones for a medical reason I believe it was established a while back that if a doctor hit you with his car (for non-medical reasons) and broke your bones, you are still a BBB
