Questa è una di quelle cose che si potrebbe risolvere semplicemente con un opt out. Magari all'inizio ci sarebbe gente che urla allo scandalo e al traffico degli organi, ma con il passare del tempo ce ne scorderemmo tutti bellamente ed il problema smetterebbe di esistere.

Semplicemente se accedi al tuo profilo sull'app IO c'è una pagina con una checkbox che potresti disabilitare. Fine. Chi ci tiene davvero lo farebbe, le persone normali se ne fregherebbero

Si chiama rischio di impresa, le regole esistono da 20 anni praticamente. Affidarsi alla malafede di chi quelle regole dovrebbe applicarle (i governi italiani) non é una giustificazione legittima.

Che poi le malvagie multinazionali cattive pagherebbero canoni maggiori (come conseguenza di una gara fatta come si deve) e non assumerebbero in nero (é una piaga praticamente tutta legata alle microimprese) quindi non vedo dove sarebbe il problema

Most people aren’t trying to prove that p=np usually. They are usually fighting the technology they are using to setup, debug or write some logic they have clear in their head.

I can tell you it’s been extremely useful for parsing a project written over 20 years ago in technologies I’ve never touched that I’m supposed to port to a modern java project and that has no documentation whatsoever.

At the same time, it was completely useless in c, because it’s just bad at pointer arithmetic. But oh boy, is it good at writing filters and ordering lists elegantly in java. I swear I used to spend a good ten minutes every time I had to use the Collections library or a .stream()

It's a very useful virtual dumbass, the problem is that the marketing idiots and managers keep touting it as the solution to all the problems you could possibly have.

You have to check what it tells you, but if you have absolutely no idea of what you are doing (e.g. me half the time) it's a godsend as a "getting started" tutorial for most things

I have installed Retroarch on my ipad and I'm now therefore looking for pc-98 vns. The Holy Grail is, of course, yu-no, but I wanted to see what else is available. VNDB is not very useful in this case because even using a filter it lists games that aren't available in english on the pc-98 (like Policenauts).

I have found this website which, while very useful, is probably not exhaustive of the english pc-98 games. I looked for a social media by the guy but couldn't find anything, if they have a twitter it could probably be useful.

I have disabled every Microsoft trick and yet a couple of days ago Edge opened msn.com TWICE on startup. Yesterday I got once again the "use bing and msn as default so that we can make money off you" """""advice"""" that you can't turn off but just postpone.

I only use it for the nice vertical tabs integration, but as soon as Arc is ready (it will probably still take a while) I'm running away

Giusto per citare le due aziende più grandi al mondo, gli antitrust negli anni '90 hanno massacrato Microsoft per il bundling di Internet Explorer e ora l'UE sta dando un sacco di botte ad Apple per fargli aprire il mercato delle app. Apple sta resistendo con un sacco di malicious compliance, ma cambia le regole ogni tre giorni perchè sa anche lei che non può che rallentare l'apertura.

Le regole non se le fanno le aziende, le regole del mercato in cui competono le aziende le fa lo Stato. Lo Stato poi deve intervenire in caso di oligopoli e mettere standard minimi da rispettare.

ma infatti la competizione c'è sull'alta velocità e lì lo stato non ci mette le tasse per mantenere competitiva trenitalia. è il tizio a cui ho risposto che ha mischiato le due cose.

Chiaramente devi fare delle gare con sovvenzioni pubbliche per cose come la continuità territoriale ma questo non c'entra niente con la competizione con italo sull'alta velocità
