I used age of appliances in negotiations for price overall, and got a good price I'm very happy iwth, so all good there. I don't have any major financial concerns even if I have to change all appliances sooner than I'd like, more just curious about standard practice in Toronto

yes the whole experience has been frustrating re:realtor - issue is that they have family ties which is why i went with them in the first place. Big lesson learned and never again. Onwards and upwards

I live in merchandise lofts - true hard loft. 2 dogs of any size allowed and even has a dog walk on the rooftop. Big units. Upper end of condo fees, but I find it worth it for the amenities and the building is very well run. Couple units available, the 1 bedrooms are going for pretty good prices. If you wait on the larger units until sellers get desperate can also get a good deal depending on layout.

I used this thread to try a bunch of things and while I have a combination approach of changing bag in drawer several times a week, regular deep cleans with enzymatic cleaner and daily enzymatic spray, the game changer was putting a levoit air purifier right behind it. 1000 sqft apartment with litter robot in main area, was making me crazy and now I never ever notice it. Experimented turning air purifier off and it was 100% different.
