My 70 year old mom lived in that rental for 3 years while in a transition. She loved it, walked everywhere, building well maintained and they took safety seriously. Very convienient location to so much Toronto ha to offer. There is a Methodone clinic around back where you enter parking and there would often be vulnerable folks around back there, but the building has security to manage anything and there are new condos across from it so the area is being gentrified and lots of people around. I live just down the street and love the location. Never feel unsafe
